Ultra-reliable In-ear Performance

To perform your best, you need to hear yourself clearly. That's where the Sennheiser ew IEM G4-Twin comes in — and you get the added benefits of a wireless in-ear system. You can hear anywhere on stage and there's less stage noise. Beyond that, in-ears aren't prone to feedback. With the Sennheiser ew IEM G4-Twin, you get all the components you need: a high-quality rackmountable transmitter with 1,680 tunable UHF frequencies, two bodypack receivers, and two pairs of IE 4 earphones. With the ew IEM G4-Twin, you'll enjoy increased bandwidth and power over previous generations, a transmission range up to 330 feet, and backward compatibility with previous evolution systems.

You can rely on this rackmount transmitter

The rugged SR IEM G4 is ready for the road with its proven transmission reliability and inspiring flexibility. It operates up to 61 channels with up to 42MHz of bandwidth and 1,680 selectable frequencies. Plus, it offers higher RF power of up to 50mW for crystal-clear reception. An upgraded infrared interface results in faster synchronization. The SR IEM G4 also features a user-friendly menu with a convenient jog wheel and an OLED display with automatic dimming, blue sync LED, red warning LED, and dedicated Escape button.

A compact receiver packed with the features you need

The EK IEM G4 features adaptive diversity for super-reliable reception. Its headphone cable is utilized as a second antenna to banish audio dropouts. Operating the EK IEM G4 is also easy due to its intuitive menu navigation and highly-visible backlit graphics display. A switchable Hi Boost and a multi-level limiter complete the package.

Rock Solid
This has been the best IEM system I have used to date. The mix clarity is exceptional, feature set very robust and build quality is excellent. I'm using all of the EW G4 Twins in Mono mode with separate mix inputs allowing for different monitor mixes for each pack. As others have mentioned, there is some bleed, but this is more of a technical FYI as there is zero chance you will notice it live. I'm running 3 of these (6 packs) with multiple different singers each week. No one has ever commented that their mix is anything other than absolutely stellar. These are the gold standard. If you know how to properly set clean frequencies and adjust squelch, then you're in for a Rock-Solid experience!

If you're reading this and are in the fence, do yourself a favor, skip the "Xvive" and cheaper Sennheiser XSW IEM phase and go straight to this system. You will save money in the long run and be happier with a product that adequately meets your needs and will last for many years.

Game changer!
Thanks for the recommendation Ryan! Played several gigs now with the Sennheiser IEM G4. Acoustic duo, playing indoors and outside. Ditched the wedge and carrying less gear. These are especially useful in loud bars/pubs with crowd noise. Spend the extra $$$ and get G band for piece of mind.

Awesome!!!
This unit is awesome! A complete workhorse. I own an older Sennheiser EW IEM G3 that still works. I 100% recommend this system. Thanks also the the guys at Sweetwater, you guys rock!!!

Great unit, few minor things
I got these as I wanted a top shelf IEM. Even going to the expense of ordering two units with 4 receivers so that I could setup with 4 individual mono mixes for the band.

Pros:
Outstanding range of coverage for the wireless signal. I don't think there is any siutation from local bar room to the biggest stages in the world you couldn't find a setup with these unit's to work.

Metal not plastic housing for the receivers. These appear to made to take a absoulte beating. They are not the lightest thing our there but IMO that is a good thing. For the cost you are at least getting very rugged equipment.

Options, lots and lots of options on frequecies and attenuation of the input signal and even capability to network setup profiles and name units that can be easily seen. While I just named mine using the unit itself with a network setup there is capability to do more using a network switch and an app. I can see why this is top shelf level that touring acts or sound companies could really use to organize with.

Sound Quaility: Great sound very easy for the end use to use. So I was able to hand these off to band mates than never used IEM before and they were up and running in few minutes with the IEM volumes etc... anyway. Had to teach a bit on setting their own mix via apps for my X32 but actualy IEM physical side was no issue using.

Due one con #1 below I ended up not putting the antennas in the front but instead in the back of the rack. I tested out as was able even with them being in the back to get outstanding range with no drop outs on my scanned open channels. Impressive.

Cons:
No inlcuded relocation wire. They included a bracket to fit the rack on single unit which has the hole to route the antenna on the front but does include a wire to hook to the back of the unit to the front?

Slight amount of bleed using the "Focus" mode on the receivers. I noted on both my units you have slight amount of bleed from the other channel using the "Focus" mode and setting the balace one full side. It's very low and does not prevent or intefer with usage but it is there. Something I not expect at this price point.

Sennheiser IEM G Band
Really love the sound quality. Saving my ears from noise damage by taking my earplugs in and out to hear during rehearsals and shows.
