This is the one!
This is my second attempt at a headworn mic. I arrived at the need twice because I use extensive floor pedals and also a music stand with scrolling iPad. Looking down at those pulls me off conventional mics with resulting voice drop out. The first unit (which shall remain nameless) cost half as much as this one. It was flimsy, the wire to the belt pack was skinny, it crackled, had interference, even the belt clip popped off...horrible. This time I got it right. This unit is solid and just flat works...the real thing. I have two nice conventional mics. It took very little tweaking to make the Sennheiser indistinguishable from them. My voice tends to have a lot of sibbilence. No problem, this unit has de-essing. I did a breezy outdoor gig. There was some wind rumble from the head mic, but it was easily removed with a little gateing which I did with my Voicelive processor. I could not be more pleased with this unit.
Seamless Intigration
This has work flawlessly. Seamlessly integrating into the existing church system. The system is truly a patch work of multiple, well intended, budget constrained, want to be sound techs. This will give the church many years of confident voice enhancement.

We can all agree that there are many companies doing what they do that is compete, in my case, I am a very practical guy, with most of my life in the music industry as a pro player, touring, and in the studio wanted or not you become extremely selective and why not say very particular, it is extremely difficult to find something that has everything, top notch quality; in craftsmanship, tone, sound, in this case frequencies, and of course not to pay an eye ball, well, after so much looking for a dream, I honestly though its wasn't going to happen but Sennheiser did it!!! I purchase it, and I was like sure I'll connected and it's going to sound whatever, probably feedback, probably I'm going to have spend so much time fixing it, WOW! is my only expression!! what a sound, tone, no interference it all!!! truly amazing!! I am a believer!!!
If your a performer and you dream with having the best, I meant the best quality in every sense that allows you to perform with your hands free, no more dreaming!!! the EW D1 is the answer!! (And by the way I'm not endorsed or anything, I's just my honest experience with this device}
Don't worry about setup
Great User experience, awesome sound and stunning features (e.g. audio effects, walktest, signal strength at mic)!
Setup is completely automatic, no need to select fequency!
