Complete with stands, hardware, and even a throne, this Ludwig Element Evolution kit is an economical no-compromise 5-piece drum set.

The Ludwig legacy

Since 1909, Ludwig drums have had one of the proudest legacies in percussion and are a favorite of Sweetwater drummers for their warm, punchy sound. The world has heard them in front of Cream's Ginger Baker, keeping the pulse behind Queen at Live Aid, and laying down the monstrous sound of Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks." But their biggest break came when Ringo Starr proudly played them on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. And the 5-piece Element Evolution drum set carries this legacy forward.

High quality and excellent sounding set of drums. This is my second drum set. So I'm not a beginner. Well I have also had two set's of Indian Tablas and a quality set of Conga drums. So yes I like to play drums.I am blown away with the quality of the hardware and yes the sound of these drums. Very loud as my ears hurt just from playing for a while after receiving and setting up my new Ludwig drum set.I recommend these over less costly drum sets. Are there better sets? Sure, well I guess so but I'm not spending several thousand dollars to find out. These sound great and will last a life time.
