    Amazing Guitar

Another great guitar from Epiphone! I play rock, jazz, and metal, this guitar performs great in all three of these categories. It has a very rich and warm sound. There are only 1 or 2 minor flaws in the finish and some fret buzz, but for Chinese craftsmenship it is great. Sweetwater has the best customer service compared to any other music store.

I purchased this guitar about 1 1/2 years ago and it's been good to me so far. Even though im not a pro or anything this guitar plays and feels amazing. I must say the tone feels a little muddy when playing clean but nothing my Cry baby and compressor cant fix. Also the neck is somewhat thick for those who play barre chords like myself and have small hands. All that aside this is a Superb Guitar and a keeper. I will upgrade the wiring and pups in the near future.

    Great Buy

I bought this guitar about six months ago and still can't get enough of it. I play mostly on the spectrum between blues and rock, which it handles with ease. I had considered getting a cheaper model of semi-hollow body (Like the dot), but eventually decided the Sheraton's added elegance made it worth the extra money.
At times the D neck is difficult to use compared to a deeper C or V, but that's mostly just user preference. The only fault in guitar itself I've encountered is that the jack plug fell into the guitar (twice). When the jack is in the movement of the guitar can be enough to unscrew the nut, and when you remove the jack, the plug falls into the body (and since it's a semi-hollow, it can be a massive pain to remove). This isn't a deal breaker, but I'd recommend an upgraded plug or some lock-tight.
Overall, the Sheraton II is one of the nicest (and most cost effective) semi-hollowbodies out there; in my opinion, much better than the slightly less expensive dot or Riviera.
PS- The Ebony finish looks much better in person than in photos.

    Epiphone Sheraton II - Ebony

I bought this for the looks and the sound of the semisolid body.
I redid the pickups and all the electronics because the quality from China was very poor....

After new insides...its awesome sounding!! Thanks to the great Fred Corradi who did the work!!

    Sharp guitar

The Sheridan is a real looker, like Beyonce.

Besides being good looking it sounds great. I use it on weekends playing in bars. Type of music is western and classic rock, which it does just fine. People sitting in the bar comment on it all the time.

The pickups are real nice with a smooth rythm and a treble which growls. Easy guitar to play. Only problem was the "E" on the pick up guard fell off.
