Gibson 1963 ES-335 TD - '60s Cherry Reviews
The Gibson Custom 1963 ES-335 TD semi-hollowbody electric guitar pays homage to the fact that without the ES-335, we may not have some of our favorite rock and blues from the '60s and '70s. This special 1963 ES-335 TD is built with more attention to historical detail than ever before, right down to the exact color of the body binding. Other touches like the slim horns at the cutaways, the cedar rim lining, and the period-correct wiring harness with "Black Beauty" capacitors complete the historical experience that is the Gibson Custom 1963 ES-335 TD semi-hollowbody electric guitar.

awesome guitar! thanks to mike godlove for a killer deal on this kick a$$ guitar!! whew! played through my dr z maz 18 jr then to my marshall bluesbreaker 2x12..oh my oh my!minor cosmetic issues, fretboard could be smoother (red bleed through 21st), binding was a little rough..like you can see small binding pieces or overhangs..for a custom shop guitar, oh well..sounds great though, and that's what matters..thank you again to sweetwater..

I will not bore all with how many guitars I have and have had through the years, but must say without a doubt this is hands down the best looking/playing/sounding guitar I have ever had! I have been playing music for 40 years now and have had many beautiful, high end guitars, but this one is "the one". It is now my go-to guitar and use it for Jazz, Rock, Country, Old rock-n-roll, just one sweet sounding guitar.
The quality is absolutely outstanding, thank you Gibson. The neck is to die for and very comfortable/stays in tune,, but the best part is when I plug it into my all tube Swart or Fender amp, sweet sounds for days! I cannot find anything wrong with this beautiful guitar and when I sit down to play it, it is hard to put it away, very inspiring! Gibson, you hit a home run with this series of guitar!
Also, I want to thank Sweetwater for such outstanding service and prices, especially Mr. Dave Wallent.
