A semi-hollowbody that is true to the original

The first ES-335s that rolled off the Gibson production line have truly achieved legendary status. Maybe it's the semi-hollowbody design, the sound of its two humbucking pickups, or just the simple elegance of the pearloid dot inlays. Whatever it is, it's made the original 1950s ES-335s among the most sought-after guitars among collectors who are often happy to pay astronomical prices for instruments in good condition. The semi-hollowbody has a 3-ply maple top and back with quartersawn Adirondack spruce bracing secured with hot hide glue, yielding a lively and vibrant sound with incredible sustain. The vintage-spec mahogany neck is topped with a smooth-playing rosewood fretboard and sports a historic truss rod. Grab a Gibson Memphis 1959 ES-335TD Reissue, and see what you've been missing.

ES335

I've had this guitar for about 6 months. The Memphis pickups are super hot with unbelievable sound. Great blues guitar. My only issue was the finish work on the sound holes was ruff and there was some glue which had run inside the guitar. Took it to have it cleaned up and now have to be careful so it don't grow legs since it is such a great guitar
