Vintage recipe for classic tones

This Epiphone Les Paul 100 sports a mahogany body with maple top, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and two humbucking pickups. It's the recipe the Les Paul has been based on since its introduction in the '50s, giving you the same tonal prowess and exceptional sustain that made it a permanent icon.

Perfect for beginners

Beginning guitarists will love the slimmer design of the Les Paul 100. It has a just-right feel when sitting down, and it isn't too heavy when played standing. And whether you're buying your first electric guitar or helping someone else start their musical journey, why would you want to just get something to play on for six months, then get a "good" one? The Les Paul 100 is affordable enough for beginners, but has the tone and feel you'll never want to let go of.

Who plays Les Pauls?

The list of famous artists who choose Les Pauls is epic: Jimmy Page, Slash, Jerry Garcia, Frank Zappa, Alex Lifeson, Zakk Wylde, and on and on. Now think about how different all of those guitarists' signature tones are. The Les Paul won over the world with its ability to conjure a seemingly endless variety of sounds, mojo, and texture. Not matter what style of music you play, you won't go wrong with the Epiphone Les Paul 100.

Absolutely Incredible

I've been wanting a Les Paul since I was extremely little, and I was finally able to get an Epiphone version of it. Let me tell you- this thing is incredible. No matter what string size you use on it, it still manages to sound incredible!

Bang for the Buck

Put this with a good amp and it will blow you away. I have several Epiphone Les Pauls,Strats etc, all pro set ups. When the guys and I get together to jam they all want to have a chance to use my LP-100. When I sent this to be set up my Luther, ( Ultimate Guitars, NOLA) didn't want to give it back. I keep it by my chair and when a riff comes to mind I whip it out and nail it with this thing. I am considering letting some guitars in my collection go, Ive found my guitar soul mate. Best Bang For The Buck!

the best one yet

my recent purchase from sweetwater of a les paul 100 ebony has caused this review....it literally scowled a t me .... at once... prompting...... the pen to paper as it were: this les paul 100 is great ...not the mild mannered and rich mid range tones or honey suckle sustain that leads to that jangle and ring bling BUT everything else....my purchase of this les paul 100 and i have bunches of guitars "the best one yet"thats good cause i got a vintage burst les paul 100 coming up next.
