A Gig-ready Wireless Receiver from Sennheiser

A top-shelf receiver for your XSW wireless system, the EM-XSW 2 offers tons of flexibility while remaining easy to operate. At Sweetwater, we're impressed by how quickly you can get up and running with it. You can use the EM-XSW 2's LCD display to manually configure your channel, although automatic frequency management and remote synchronization are still on tap. True diversity operation ensures smooth performance without dropouts. The EM-XSW 2's rugged metal housing is built for the road. And it sounds great. When you fire up an XSW-series system, you can expect pounding bass, crisp treble, and low-noise without acoustic feedback.

Sennheiser — exceptional sound quality and reliability

The Sennheiser name is synonymous with wired and wireless microphones, complete wireless systems, and studio-grade headphones. For example, guitarists worldwide know that the e609 and e906 dynamic microphones sound outstanding with pretty much any guitar amplifier, and their ruggedness makes them perfect for live use. The MD 421 dynamic mic is known by studio engineers to be a flexible solution for vocals, drums, amps, and bass cabinets, with high SPL handling and excellent transient response. Onstage, artists know that when they're handed an e865, e935, e945, or other Sennheiser vocal microphone, they can expect studio-quality reproduction and excellent resistance to feedback. And in the world of wireless microphone systems, Sennheiser's evolution wireless systems give you the ability to set up many simultaneous wireless channels without interference.

Sennheiser EM-XSW 2 Features:

  • Easy-to-use wireless true diversity receiver for XSW wireless systems
  • Delivers pounding bass, crisp treble, and low noise without acoustic feedback
  • Access a plethora of useful options via a front-panel LCD
  • True diversity and up to 12 compatible channels in a stable UHF band
  • Automatic frequency management and remote synchronization make setup easy
  • Rugged metal housing
Worry-free Wireless!

Reviews

Rated 5/5
Reliable and Durable
I've been using this for about 2 years now, 6 nights a week, sometimes more (up to 12 shows a week) and it's never let me down. Combine that with the excessive packing up and re-setting due to touring/performing at alternating venues, it really is quite amazing (in my opinion) that it basically shows no signs of 'wear and tear'. Still going strong and still feels new. As long as you take good care of it, it'll last you quite a while, and it will serve you exceptionally well.

It Continues To Fail
This Sennheiser has failed us over and over again. Sweetwater has honored the warranty with this product by repairing and then replacing it. Unfortunately, it has failed again.

Music background: audio tech

From their studio-standard MD 421 II drum mic to their trusty headphones and ultra-reliable wireless systems, there are countless good reasons why the artists and engineers here at Sweetwater are quick to recommend Sennheiser products. In our personal studios, you'll find plenty of HD 280 Pro headphones, e609 Silver cab mics, and other staples, while many of us rely on EW wireless in-ear systems onstage. Our long association with Sennheiser means we constantly have their latest products in stock and in our hands, so we're ready to tell you all about them.
