Great Powered Mixer
I like this powered mixer. I am still learning all the features. It is a little bigger than I expected. So far, so good. I've had it about 2 weeks and used it for a gig. It worked well.

Quiet, Clean, & Smooth 14-channel Mixer!
This didn't make my ears bleed but is great for a home studio or a small to medium size live gig.
Easy to Use. Built to Last
Our church has owned a Yamaha EMX5014C for over 13 years. Due to COVID-19 and having to bring the services outside, we had to pull it out of storage, and it was still working like new after being last used 4 years ago. It has lots of power for two main (15-inch) speakers and two-floor speaker-monitors. Easy to use and set up with no need for an amplifier.

We purchased this mixer for our outdoor worship due to Covid19 and it is very simple to hook up and it carries great power.

Clean sounding straight forward operation easy to read and follow manual. Sufficient power to push my JBL speakers. Recommend this product for small and medium venues.
Yamaha EMX 5014C Mixer not designed to last
Purchased the EMX 5014C from Sweetwater as a demo a little over 3-years ago. Performed up to my expectations for about 2.75-years and then it developed a noise out of the left channel. I continued to use the unit until the noise increased. I use monitors from the Aux outputs through a power amp and found the same noise coming out of one of the monitor channels as well. My initial purchase was based on stellar reviews of the 5014C. I have an off brand back-up mixer I purchased 10-years ago that makes less noise than this unit. I am disappointed in the quality of the product. The performance was been good until recently. It wasn't a cheap investment and I expected Yamaha to produce a product that would last. Currently I am waiting for a quote from Yamaha for the cost of the repair. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Powerful mixer for the money
This mixer is great for live sound in a church or worship sanctuary. Its versatility allows you to input any sound source from a microphone to an MP3 player to a CD player onto multiple channels. It's relatively small for the large number of features, so you don't need a huge workspace to operate. The PFL (pre-fader listen) function is especially useful when you need to check microphones without disturbing the service.
It has phantom power for those applications when you need to use condenser mics. For larger venues, there are connectors provided for connection to external power amplifiers and effect processors.
I would recommend this powered mixer for any small to medium church or club application.
This mixer is awesome!
This mixer is great, I cant say anything bad about it.
The only thing that has happened so far was one input blew out! but it took a long while for it to do that, probably 2 yrs max. Besides that this mixer is great for the price and loud! The effects are great and its def something id invest in! Im using it in my music venue now!
EMX5014C
I compared this mixer side by side with many other models by other mfg's. What surprised me the most is how light it is. I thought for sure it would come out last because how could something so comparably light even hope to compete. I associated light with cheap but I was wrong. It smoked the competition. This mixer is unbelievably good. I thank Joe Martell at sweetwater for recommending it. I have owned it for several months now and am very happy with it. It is a very sophistcated mixer sporting many features only found on higher end models and is well built and well designed.
