The Sound and Feel of a 1930s Epiphone!
Epiphone revives the prestige of its 1930s guitars with the new Masterbilt Acoustic Series. These new flat-top guitars feature solid wood construction and a distinctive 1930s-style "offset notch" peghead shape with historic Epiphone script logo and mother-of-pearl "stickpin" inlay.
The Epiphone EF-500 Collection was designed by and for fingerstyle players. The guitars of the EF-500 Collection deliver the ultimate sound and feel of classic vintage acoustic guitars. A "modern V" neck pays tribute to the great Epiphones of the mid-1900s, while the wider nut (1.750") provides perfect steel-string, fingerstyle spacing. With its combination of solid mahogany body and Sitka spruce top the EF-500M has great projection and clarity.
The beautiful grain of the Masterbilt woods is enhanced with a natural satin or vintage-style shaded finish. The dreadnought and fingerstyle models have full-body abalone binding, tapered dovetail neck joints glued with hot hide glue and are available with the L.R.
