Ultra-popular active EMG pickups deliver turbocharged PAF tone

The beautiful thing about the set of active EMG humbuckers ESP put in this E-II Eclipse DB electric guitar is in the complete range of tone they give you. Together, the combination of an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 60 at the neck sounds a lot like a pair of vintage PAFs, only much, much hotter. They give your E-II Eclipse DB the characteristic PAF honk and chest-pounding body metal players have been turning to since metal was born, plus the high-output intensity you need to blast through any mix.

ESP's Eclipse body style blends classic looks with modern performance

Nothing screams hard rock like ESP's timeless Eclipse body style. The extra mass of this single-cutaway design gives the E-II Eclipse DB truly epic sustain, whereas its slightly arched top provides you with comfortable hand positioning, no matter your picking style. Add to that a super-sharp cutaway, which gives you open access to the E-II Eclipse DB's upper frets, and you're totally ready to shred. Sweetwater knows that rocking out is important to you, and we're confident that the ESP E-II Eclipse DB can do the job.

Top-notch quality is affordable with ESP E-II

Bulletproof Guitar

This guitar is great. From fit to finish it is staggering how good it is. The X-jumbo frets and the slim neck profile make this guitar effortless to play. The hardware is beautiful and is set off nicely by the vintage binding. The fretboard is a coated piece of ebony that looks great with the pealoid flag inlays. The EMG pickups are quite versatile, and sound amazing in this beast. My sales engineer Brian Dillon took great care of me from beginning to end. All-in-all I can't say enough about this guitar, if you are thinking about getting just do it! And get it from Sweetwater!

Esp eclipse vintage black

This guitar is amazing! The look and finish is super smooth. Awesome playability and tone Aswell. Super fat sounding. It's got some weight to it but not as much as a les Paul which is nice. I would've given it a 5 out of 5 but the tone selector switch tends to come loose quickly and feels wobbly in the middle position but other than that it's near perfect. Chris goldback was awesome and gave me a great deal on it! Highly recommend this guitar!
