At least it looks good ...

After purchasing a used Roland TD-3 set and a Pearl module I decided to get a Pearl EHH-2 electronic hi hat. I had a show that night so I ran it through my TD-3 module. To get a closed hi hat sound I had to push hard down with my left foot. By the 3rd set my leg was cramping and I barely made it through the night. The next night, I spent hours downloading updates and doing the settings exactly as Pearl said on their website. Now I have very little control over the closed sound and I have to push harder than ever. I've reached out to Pearl's customer service twice and they never responded back to me. It's been 3 weeks now. I should have sent the EHH-2 (and the module) back but now it's too late. In the '80's I used to endorse Pearl and they made me a custom drum set. Now I can't even get any help with my problems. Oh how the mighty have fallen!
