EverTune bridge

The EverTune bridge on the ESP EC-1000FM EverTune is a mechanical system that helps you stay in tune under any playing situation. Long-lasting tuning stability and accurate intonation are supplied by small springs that keep consistent tension on your strings. And the tension is adjustable, offering static tuning under any playing conditions or standard performance for string bending and vibrato. Even if you're playing a long gig or recording session, your tuning will be more stable regardless of your playing style, temperature, or other variables.

Traditional single-cutaway feel

Though many ESP electric guitars are primed for heavy rock styles, this LTD EC-1000FM is a vintage guitar-lover's dream. The guitar will feel like an old friend because of its mahogany and maple construction and 24.75" scale length. The neck profile fills your hand just enough without slowing down your playing. You'll appreciate the long sustain offered by the mahogany and maple construction. And the 24.75" scale length and set neck construction deliver the warmth and a silky performance that single-cutaway guitars are known for.

Seymour Duncan humbuckers

Guitarists have turned to Seymour Duncan pickups for years for their quality, dynamic response, and reliable performance. The Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz and SH-4 JB bridge humbucking pickup combination, widely known to be Seymour Duncan's personal favorite, is a brilliant pairing that's extremely popular for its balance of warm and clear neck tones and an aggressive midrange punch from the bridge. This duet of pickups is also one of the most popular pairings we sell at Sweetwater.

ESP Sweetwater Exclusive LTD EC-1000FM EverTune Guitar Features:
  • Classic-looking electric guitar
  • Traditional U-shaped profile offers a vintage-style feel
  • 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers for a powerful tone with plenty of clarity
  • EverTune bridge provides amazing tuning stability and intonation
  • Set-neck construction gives you long-lasting sustain and excellent articulation
This ESP LTD EC-1000FM EverTune offers today's stability with vintage appeal.

Get one and sell all your other guitars!

I have MANY guitars. PRS, Gretsch, Godin, Fender, G&L, Eastman, Music Man, Ibanez... Even an aluminum neck Kramer! They will soon be all for sale. I got the Lemon Drop version of this guitar yesterday. (Lemon Drop is discontinued: Don't know if they'll be discontinuing this one either, but I'd STRONGLY advise you to grab one before they are gone!) I'll get to the bridge in a minute, but first I want to say how great the neck, fretwork and fit and finish are. Korea is making some fabulous guitars these days. Better, IMHO, than Japan, China, even the USA on a lot of things. One REALLY odd feature of the guitar is that the BRIDGE volume control is the one closest to the neck! Strange, but actually it makes sense and works really well. The Seymour Duncan pickups are clean and clear. The bridge pickup is usually one I ignore except to use with over driven sounds. But this one is usable and sounds great clean. It's a bit thinner than a Les Paul, has more "dish" to the top that acts as a forearm contour, has a shorter lower horn with a scoop on the back, contoured neck/body joint and a belly cut on the back. Now to the Evertune bridge. Once you finally figure out how to set it up (mine came with the high E string counter balance string tightened all the way resulting in 5 broken E strings... Dan VanAmeroengen, my rep, is sending me 5 sets of strings, gratis! THANKS, Danny!) I had to take the whole bridge assembly out of the guitar to suss out the problem. After that, I followed the set up guide and all is good. Last night I played it with my band. I gotta tell you, I usually have to tune at least every other song because I'm an, "If it ain't perfectly in tune, I can't play right!" kind of guy. (Many might argue that I can't play right at any time, but that's an issue for another forum!) We played a 2 hour set and I did not tune up ONCE! I did check the TU-2 after about an hour and a half, and every string was perfect! It's a bit fiddly tuning it, but after you figure out that you have to tune the string down with the peg after a bridge height adjustment to get the Allen key to work, you'll be fine. Also make sure you ask the Sweetwater guys to check that the bridge is in the "Sweet Spot" before they ship it because, unless you've been working on guitars for 53 years, as I have, you may have trouble! Great guitar, great bridge, REALLY great customer service: What are you waiting for???!!!

A new King upon their own THRONE Q

As a underground artist, these are state of the art pieces of art ; awesome guitars.

WOW! What a guitar!

To start, I had my sales rep Stephen Opinhiemer hold the 8 lb 3 oz. gem because I didn't have all the money right then and there, but had it all a couple days later, I also had a store credit to help matters. What other company would do that for you? Well fast forward 4 days later and she arrived, The unwrapping was like a Christamas story "you'll put your eye out kid" the bubbly guts in anticipation, and BOOM she shines brighter than a Hollywood Starlets dreams! This guitar is FANTASTIC! No really it is.......wanna fight? FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The very first thing I did was completely inspect the craftsmanship, the binding, any over sprays from an alcoholic on a Friday? Did the neck person fall asleep with leveler in his hands? Did Ed forget to solder the PUs correctly, did Linda drop it on the production floor on the way shipping? NOPE! It's absolutely PERFECT. I literally CANNOT FIND A FLAW. I've held this thing up to the light, checked the fret board, inspected every fret, every screw for a strip out or the obvious "Norbert needs a new screw bit, cuz this ones ruining all the screw heads" I am truly blown away. This thing looks as good my mid 90's historic LP Gold Top, better than my LP junior, as good if not better than my two Fender Telcaster Relics Cunnetto Cust Shops, I know apples and oranges. But hey as far as playability, stableness, beauty, charm, it's a solid MF'er. I literally over the years have sent back so many Fenders and Gibsons thinking they had all started smoking crack and we're getting their wood from atomic test sights or a hobby huts. This things weight is perfectly balanced, 8lbs 3 oz is a perfect LP weight, IMHO. I'm a pro player, I play regularly in punk rock, hillbilly punk, rockabilly, cow punk, thrash, alt rock, and alt psycho blues genres, in multiple bands and releasing two CDs this year alone. I play many outdoor events like pro skate competitions, events river side beach blowouts, indoor venues large and small. The weather changes here in Colorado play havoc on my ladies, this is why I wanted to try this gem out. Well she didn't disappoint. PLAYABILITY AND TONE. Perfect, once you understand how the evertune works, it's cake. Watch the YouTube videos on stringing, and tuning with the Evertune. I was already versed when it arrived how to set it for bending. I only set the low E to never bend, easy, just back off the tuner a couple extra turns. The intonation was perfect, harmonic to fretted, open to fretted, and up and down the neck. The Evertune is like an old girlfriend that just shows up when you're at your neediest. She's there for you and won't let you down, and won't tell your current girlfriend she was ever there. It's PERFECT! I Love it, I will be buying more ESPs in the future, ESP is truly serious about their esthetics, quality control, form and function. I'm playing a pro outdoor skate comp in two weeks, last years event my PRS custom 24 top 10, struggled to stay in pitch from the cold/hot fluctuations, I'm excited to see if this thing delivers with a blood thirsty crowd looming and Mother Nature hovering over her like Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest. No worries.
