    My EL-00

Yes I am blown away by this little guitar.
I own a Gibson J-180 and a 1974 Aria Jumbo western and I needed a grab and play guitar and saw this little guitar on Youtube. After reading reviews and watching a few videos I ordered ordered one along with the (equally as impressive) case .
It plays and sounds great right out of the box and the EL-00 has that vintage 30's blues box look.
I could go on, but get your own, you won't regret it!

    sensational guitar

just got this guitar today. unfortunately not from sweetwater, however i figured it would help people out in buying writing this review, right out of the box was ok ,in tune and the finish is gorgeous, intonation great, and playablity is good. strings at perfect height. it even comes with truss rod for that price, amazing . definately a guitar to take a chance on, it's well worth the money best guitar in that price range i've played in a long time .

A GREAT VALUE and my go - to grab and play

A very good friend has an original pre war Gibson L00 which I love. , Gibson offers a Custom Shop for 6K and vintage ones fetch between 4K and 5K , so when I saw this guitar , I gave it a shot.
    Was I surprised.
The workmanship is pretty good for the price point and the sound really surprised me.
The smaller size is a plus for those who can't get comfy with a drednaught.
Still looking for an "affordable " Gibson L00 , but this guitar is a keeper !

    Just What I Wanted

I play a 60's era Epiphone Cortez and wanted something inexpensive for traveling. Though the tone isn't as seasoned or complex as the Cortez, I like everything about the EL-00. Very comfortable neck, especially for short hands, light weight, and plenty loud enough for a jam session. I ordered it with the TUSQ nut, but found the tone really improved when I installed a bone saddle and switched to medium-light strings. The sunburst is beautifully done, and overall it looks and feels like a much more expensive guitar. Just a great, everyday player.
