from Australia February 24, 2015Music Background:
    multi instrumentalist/ mixer

Does/ did the job for the price to an extent

I bought this to mix a live show in which the 2nd guitarist was absent and it just didn't sound right as the bass was not well played and couldn't hold up it's own side, thus had to be centred. This problem works well enough except that the doubled guitar tends to at time go back into time with the original signal thus making both sides periodically centre, and this just sounds weird. When the mixing deadline was up I just had to let it have the faults and send it off. I would suggest not letting the program do this. The 2 signals should always be separated enough. Also, When I start up my cubase, now I have to go some process of deleting popups that come up from this program before it will open cubase. I have had to delete Duo from cubase completely whilst not using it.
