Amazing Clarity with High Gain!

The DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 humbucking electric guitar pickup for 7-string is all about nuance through high gain. Designed with Dream Theater's John Petrucci, the Crunch Lab 7 is engineered with a big, tight sound that's neither muddy nor thin. It strikes a great balance between tightening the bass response while also giving the higher frequencies a fat and singing quality. Sweetwater players know crucial those elements are for playing chords with body and presence through a gained-out amp. Make them yours with the DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7.

Impressed! Very HOT pickups!

I don't like writing reviews but I will for this product.I own my a pro recording studio, So needless to say I have many guitars and bass guitars and all kinds of other instruments all over the studio. I frequently like to experiment with different guitar pickups and tones; I have used EMG's, Seymour Duncan and Now these. These pickups are very hot! They pick up everything and they do an awesome job at "bucking" the Hum. The attack is crazy awesome... Crystal clear attack even on the highest gain setting on your dirty channel. Loads of Sustain. Just awesome. I had a musician who brought in his schecter loaded with Emg's and choose to use my guitar instead of his own because of the clarity these pickups produce.I have other guitars with Seymour duncans in them, (my Choice pickups) but these DiMarzio's have a different tone that I enjoy very much. I would recommend them to anyone of any style music. Only negative complaint is that there is just slightly too much mids for my taste, however a simple adjustment of EQ solves that problem. P.s. EMG's are overrated! Don't buy them. In my experience they are just terrible and every musician that comes to me gets blown away by my passive Duncans, and now these DiMarzio's. All you EMG fans out there, You've been lied to you little sheep. haha. EMG's = No Bueno! haha
