    Complete Drum Mic Kit

We recently went from using Roland V-Drums in our services to an acoustic kit. Quite an undertaking!! Fortunately, I had some experience with Audix mics and was encouraged to hear great reviews from a friend on their Audix Drum Mic Kit. They had purchased the DP-7 and couldn't be happier. I didn't need the extra 2 condenser microphones, so I purchased the DP-5A kit and I now am also happy! This all-in-one package is doing the job for us. Easy set-up, with the included DVice clips for easy positioning, and a set of rugged drum mics that sound great right out of the box. Obviously, there's better drum mics if you want to pay more money, but for the great price I received at Sweetwater, I couldn't be more satisfied. Money well spent! Not to mentioned the great service and experienced staff that you get with every purchase from Sweetwater. I'm a satisfied Worship Pastor.

Best live drum mics I've ever used

I've used these mics for both live and in the studio and they sound fantastic! Without breaking the bank, these are extremely versatile.

    Amazing!

Best Sounding Drum Mics by far. Seen a lot of people use SM-57s these simply blow them out of the water. They even sound great with out any eq on them. Save the extra case and get the DP5a (instead of the dp7) and buy some nice over head mics.

    nice mics

These things sound great. They give a nice representation of the drums. The i5 gives a nice sound to the snare and gives you some nice options when accompanied with a Sm 57. Over all these mics are great and will add more options to your mic locker.

    One of the Greats!

I got the Audix DP5a just a few days ago and I have to say this is one of the best drum mic packages I've heard so far.

Go with the DP5a and not the DP7 the included overheads aren't worth the extra cash. Save up and buy some nice overheads.
