LOVE this pedal

The Trick Dominator pedal is WONDERFUL! I was SPOILED in 1955 when I bought my new Gretsch kit (middle of high schoolj). I bought Gretsch drums, Ludwig hardware, Zildjian cymbals and fiber cases. When we went to the store to try it out, the store owner sized me up and made a couple of substitutions. A Premier snare stand (because I was a little taller than normal) and a GHOST pedal (just because). When I tried the kit out, I just couldn't believe the difference good equipment made... ESPECIALLY the Ghost pedal. Even though I decided against playing for a living, I never got over the Ghost, and it was the ONLY pedal I owned for 40 years. Now to the Dominator. I found my new Ghost! This thing is wonderful, and I just can't say enough good about it. First, the spring mechanism is just the best. I don't care if you do it with compression springs or opposed clock springs (Ghost), any pedal that provides immediate restoring force when you move the pedalboard simply works best. The common tension spring arrangement has VERY poor leverage at the rest position (the sine of 0 is ZERO leverage). This is the primary (but not only) reason that Ghost and Trick (and maybe Drumnetics) are head and shoulders above everyone else. I know I'm in the minority, but the direct linkage is also a real plus for me. Adjustability is also a big deal, The Ghost was VERY and simply adjustable, but Trick has them beat with independent adjustments for beater angle and pedalboard height. These two were tied together in the Ghost design. The Dominator is well worth its price. I'm GLAD I BOUGHT IT!
