You get what you pay for
After reading a review of this guitar in GP magazine, where they praised it, I decided to get one. The first one I received was defective and the electrics did not work at all. It rattled and obviously had some loose electric parts. I really didn't trust another one, but the people at Sweetwater wanted to fix the problem by sending me another one, which I agreed to. They shipped it promptly, maven before I sent the other one back, and never charged my card for the second one. Outstanding service. I accepted the second one and kept it, and after a few months now, I can say that I view this guitar as a fair deal for money, nothing outstanding. The playability is not on par with some 500.00 - 700.00 Taylor instruments, that I was initially considering, but it is better than 100.00 - 200.00 bottom line acoustics. The resonance and sound is not on par with my sons more expensive Epiphone, but it is acceptable. Overall, it's a fair value, and the electric option is a bonus, but based on its acoustic sound and playability, I now wish I had spent a little more and bought something better.
