Compound-radius fingerboard gives you the best of both worlds

The Jackson DK2QM Pro Series Dinky solidbody electric guitar sports a compound-radius fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action high-speed runs and monumental string bends without fretting out. You get the best of both worlds with the DK2QM Pro Series Dinky.

Premium components and construction

What makes Jackson the solidbody electric guitar of choice for so many players? Start with the neck: hard rock maple with a comfortable, fast carve - it's joined to a compound radius fingerboard and optimized for blazing leads and massive chords alike. Jackson guitar bodies are designed with killer tone and eye-catching looks in mind, providing distinctive body shapes while staying lightweight enough to play all night. Wanna talk tone? this Jackson DK2QM Pro Series Dinky is fitted with Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a favorite of Sweetwater guitar players, that deliver a huge sonic palette - from bell-like chime to fat 'n' snarling.

Your weapon of choice: Jackson

From Def Leppard's Phil Collen and Rick Savage to James Root of Slipknot and Stone Sour and Derrick Green of Sepultura (just to name a few), some of the most formidable axe-slingers in rock have used Jackson guitars to generate their fretboard fireworks - for good reason! Jackson guitars are designed from the ground up for monster tone, amazing playability, and rock-solid reliability every time they take the stage or hit the studio. Of course, it doesn't hurt to look good, either; if you're looking for a visually stunning instrument to impress your audience and show that you mean business, you want a Jackson!

  • A performance-built solidbody electric guitar made for metal and rock

My 1st Jackson

I've been ripping on this thing for a few weeks now... fun to play and sounds fantastic! It's well made and more versatile than I thought it would be. Sounds good for just about every genre. Not just Metal and shredding. Love the sounds of the SD JB pups. It plays and stays in tune. The guitar arrived on time, well packed, and almost in tune. Also with my favorite case candy... a "Bit-O-Honey" ;) The guitar also looks better in person too. It was playable out of the box. However, I can be a bit fussy when it comes to how I like my guitars setup... changed strings and tweak it a little to my taste. Frets were level, but I will round off the edges and dress them. Good addition to my collection. Shout out to Mac Hatton! He's the best! He always goes above and beyond. And, one of the main reasons I shop at Sweetwater.

Outstanding Instrument

I own several high end guitars including a Jem7vwh, custom Carvin, Prestige S, Prestige RG, UV777, American Strat and I can say this guitar is my favorite to play. They got everything right including the pickup choice, body and looks. If I lost all of my guitars tomorrow, I would buy 3 of these in different colors for different tunings and be done.

I've had his for 6 months. This is the best guitar I e played ever! As an intermediate player, it's made me better! It just plays soooo good! I was torn between ltd 100 or the schecter and so happy I picked this. I always thought the schecter live pups sounds tinny. The seymours on this axe r top shelf. Can get any sound. Pretty, classic rock, modern rock or go full bridge and play metal! Seriously, no bs, this axe has BLOWN my mind

Can't find anything wrong

I've owned this guitar for almost a year now and I've never had any problems with it. It functions great, looks great, sounds great, and plays great. When I first saw this guitar, it was perfect. A maple fretboard, simple inlays, bolt on neck, amazing color, simple electronics, five way pickup selector (kind of more of an added bonus), Floyd Rose, passive Seymour Duncans (I was getting sick of my active EMGs), from a company I know makes quality and comfortable instruments, and all for the price I was looking for. Anything you could find wrong with this guitar comes down to personal preference, because if you like all the features you see on this guitar then they will not disappoint.

Great guitar, stays in tune well. Neck plays like a dream. Finish is great, sound is perfect from the sd pickups mounted into the body. No complaints here! If you're on the fence about it, go for this Jackson, you won't be disappointed!
