Shred Right
Jackson built the PDX-2 Demmelition King V solidbody electric guitar to Phil Demmel's exacting specifications. For your shredding pleasure, Machine Head's axe man spec'd out this formidable weapon with a menacing signature King V body shape, a 3-piece through-body neck capped with a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and Jackson's classic shark fin inlays. You also get a pair of EMG HZ humbuckers with dual volume controls and a 3-way blade. A Floyd Rose Special vibrato keeps tuning stable even under extreme whammy conditions. Shred right, with the Jackson PDX-2 Demmelition King V.

The Jackson PDX-2 Demmelition King V sports a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius thet keeps things nice and confortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. With the PDX-2 Demmelition King V, you get the best of both worlds.
Neck-through design for monumental sustainThe Jackson PDX-2 Demmelition King V owes its great tone and sustain in part to something you won't even notice at first glance: a neck-through-body design. The three-piece through-body maple neck doesn't just join the body; it's actually part of the body! This configuration contributes to sustain in a big way, since the entire guitar is structurally integrated, with the pickups, bridge, and tailpiece affixed to the actual neck.
EMG pickups for snarling, agressive toneJackson's PDX-2 Demmelition King V is packin' heat. A pair of passive EMG humbuckers spit out enough attitude to keep you shredding all night, every night. At the bridge, you get an EMGHz-4A, optimized for fat, snarling lead tone. In the neck position, there's an EMGHz-4, voiced to give you everything from spanking cleans, to thick chunk, to a massive wall of sound. EMG designed these passives to emulate the sound of their classic active 81 and 85 models. The HZs are likely the quietest passive pickups in existence, and (unlike actives), you never have to worry about dead batteries.
