    DB60 Dr. Beat

A very nice, easy to use item. Nice loud beat sound and very easy to add/subtract and/or create various rhythms.

I could not possibly ask for a better metronome. It is perfect in every way and it is making me a better musician. I was playing "Bridge of Sighs", "Green Manalishi", and Dvorak's 9th Symphony way to fast. And yes, my music is that diverse.

    The Boss DB-60 Is Great!

I had narrowed my metronome search down to three... The DB-30, DB-60 and the Korg MA-30. My main concerns were size and audio quality of the click (tone and volume). After finding online demos of the units I bought the DB-60 and am so glad I did. While not exactly "pocket" size, it is about the size of an index card and plenty loud with good tone.

The features are great! Up to 17 beats per measure, subdivisions with adjustable volumes, tap tempo, memory settings, pre-programmed rhythms, reference pitches and much more. A lot of the features I would expect on a more expensive and larger unit.

All I can say is this unit is everything I was looking for. Buy it and you won't be dissapointed!

    Boss DB-60

This is a great product I have used to help improve my timing. The ability to set the beat/tempo or a beat pattern. You can store setup to memory which for me saves time.

    Great metronome

I bought this for our drummers at church to use. They use the memory function to call up the tempo for each song. They can't hear it, but can watch the lights and swinging needle. They said they really like the swinging needle - even if we're not right on you can still tell if the tempo is holding steady.

A great tool for any musician

I use the DB-60 in my music lessons and for playing drums at church. It is very easy to use and has more features than I know what to do with. I especially like the 8 memory presets that allow me to quickly switch from one tempo to the next. The display shows the sway of the metronome, which I appreciate more than just the blinking light of other metronomes. The tap tempo, timer, and tuner are added bonuses. The only thing I'd change about the DB-60 is to make it a little bit louder volume for headphones.

    Standard for Metronomes

I've owned two of these over the years. The first one got its screen completely cracked. Guitar case fell over and something hit it on the screen. For awhile after, I figured that there was no point in having a metronome. I had one of those old rotary dial ones. Furthermore, who needs one when you have many metronomes on the internet or in your DAW?

I realized that it would be nice to have a real metronome again because the computer is full of distractions and those rotary dial ones only have every 4th BPM. I got another DB-60. It does what it is supposed to do. The stopwatch, light, and subdivisions are useful features. As are the tap tempo and memory. I believe this stuff to be minimum basic features. It is also portable unlike the bigger Dr. Beat.

The unit is too expensive. A basic metronome should not cost $, but that's life. Just don't drop anything on the screen, knock it over, or leave it in an unsecured case pocket.
