    will help you along

received this a couple of weeks ago. have not used it much yet. still learning some of the features on the metronome. im not a advanced player, but as i advance in my playing im sure this will help me along. it could be a little louder in my opinion, but you also have the flashing lights to look at for tempo. you can stand the unit up, i put a quarter in the back slot on the bottom, and i was good to go. im happy with the purchase.

    Boss DB-30

Great unit for the price. For those seeking an uncomplicated metronome, this is the one to get.
No need for programming, saving settings, or dealing with a long users' manual. Volume adjustable to allow you to run it quietly. Also, prompt delivery from Sweetwater, as usual.

    Great little Metronome

A very nice and compact Metronome that has all the features you will ever need. Very easy to use and follow along with the beat you have selected.

    Very useful, light and portable

Great metronome to keep in the instrument case. Very easy to use and with all the different beats you may need. I do wish the click would sound a little louder but the LED's allow you see the beats and you never loose your tempo.

    Great for the price

It's a metronome, click track and quite the help. Easy to use and tons of different time signatures. Worth the money

Nice device, with a few minor design flaws

This device has a lot of functionality in a small package and I'm glad I own it. However, I have three gripes.

    1) I wish it were a bit louder. I have a cheaper, less capable device from another manufacturer that is noticably louder in a package that is only slightly larger than this one.

    2) The device has unusual and unexpected behavior in the low battery state. It resets to factory settings as soon as you press the START button, rendering it useless. IMO, this is a bad user experience. When the device is in a low-battery state, there should be some clear indication. At least the instruction manual or the Roland support web site should mention this behavior. If you look at the amazon reviews, you will see that a lot of people were confused by this behavior.

    3) The battery is a little difficult to service because the jewler's screw holding the cover is smaller than many people will have tooling for. Other devices have a cover that slides and locks into place without screws.
