beyond WOW
I know my reviews are beginning to sound like a broken record.....but this one is very special. First impression....fantastic HARD case that not even the very expensive guitars are including now. Great looking case, wonderful protection with the "Hofner name" proudly displayed.
Then I opened the case....again, BLOWN AWAY with the fit, finish, TWO sets of knobs to choose from (who else does that?) this guitar looked like a guitar costing 5 times the price. Then I picked it up.....another pleasant surprise. VERY thin (the thinnest of all of my hollow bodies) with a nice weight.
Okay, so I figured at this price they must have invested everything in it's appearance....WRONG AGAIN.
Plugged it in, turned it up LOUD facing my Marshall full stack an NO feedback!!! It was love at first strum....
This guitar plays like buttah. Action is low, neck is fast, perfectly balanced and the electronics are incredible!!!!!! My first Hofner.....WHY hasn't anyone told me about these. FAR superior in my opinion to my ES-335's and other hollow bodies. I now have a NEW number ONE hollow body.
Don't let the low price fool you. If you can afford a Gibson.....save your money and buy this one. You won't be sorry.

The electronics in this guitar is out of this world...Never expected it to sound and play this well. Love the block inlays and the finish as well. Guitar is very narrow and light and that's a bonus too!!!

This guitar is very nice! The sound is punchy and warm, the play action is low and no buzzes, the finish and woods and super nice. Happy overall and Sweetwater was as always helpful
