Classic Wah - Hendrix Style!

The wah-wah pedal was just invented when Hendrix burst on the scene in 1967. And to this day, few player's names are more synonymous with killer wah leads and wicked, wah-driven syncopated rhythms. The wah pedal that Hendrix used was a 60s design by the Thomas Organ Company and manufactured by JEN in Italy. This is the unmistakable wah tone heard on Hendrix classics like "Up From the Sky,""Voodoo Child (Slight Return),""Little Miss Lover"and "Still Raining, Still Dreaming."

The Jimi Hendrix Signature Wah reproduces these timbres, and more, with startling accuracy. Throaty and expressive, it will fire your imagination. The vintage classic look is 100% authentic too, with a sleek black Italian crinkle finish aluminum body. From its eye-catching look to its mind-bending sound, everything about this wah just screams Hendrix.

Very Useable Wah

I've owned several wah's over the years, but this is the only one for the past 5 or so for a reason. I'm not a huge wah guy, I may only use it on a few songs a night, but what I really like about this one so much is the lack of harshness. IT's a much more forgiving wah than any I had previously owned. None of those ear-piercing screeches that you have to be careful to work around on many others. Still a great range, but very mellow and exceptionally useable. Love it.

Cry me a river

After years of avoiding pedals because of theiruntrustworthy nature and their ability to consume batteries after a single night, I have started to collect effect pedals again. I no longer am a gigging musician and I do not have to worry about batteries and having 2 of everything. This is my first Signature cry baby, so why not a Jimi Hendrix one? Dunlop has been around forever and has always made durable equipment, so i chose this one. Keep in mind that I have had VOX and other manufacturers cry baby pedals in the past as well. It was just time to try something new. What i noticed right away with this pedal, is that the modulation of the tone used to create the cry baby or wah effect is more laid back. With some wah pedals the change in modulation is very abrupt and harsh. Not with this one. This one is cool and mellow and laid back. Just like Jimi was. If you are looking for an in-your-face Slash sound, buy the Slash wah pedal. If you want to mellow out, get this one.

Good Pedal Nice Tone

I bought this pedal in the fall of 2004, It is a great sounding wah. I have read some not so great reviews of previous years makes of this pedal, but I think dunlop has gotten all the kinks out now. It sounds really good, nice thick deep wah to high growl. Has lots to play with. Good Pedal!
