I own a Korg MS-20 synth and a Korg SQ10 analog sequencer and needed some more patch cables than what I had. The Hosa 8-packs are perfect for the modular or analog synth user basically because the bright colors are your eyes' best friend when it comes to routing your patches.
Can't beat them for the money!
Okay, we all know that these cables are pretty much "Throw Away" units. The plugs are molded onto the cables and although you can cut and solder on new plugs, why bother? For the price of a pack of these you can purchase several packs and keep them on hand.
Considering their intended purpose (like in a patch bay) they are going to get used and abused. I expect anything that I routinely use day in and day out to eventuality fail. I'd rather chuck the bad cable and get back to making music rather than sitting at the bench fixing cables.
However, I will say I've been using Hosa cables for a long time and have had very few problems with them. Let's just say I haven't had any more problems with Hosa cables that I've had with cables that cost much more.
That's why I keep going back to them. They offer good quality and good value. I'll be buying more in the future!
Great patch cables for the price!
Home studio must-have
You cannot beat this bundle of patch cables. Very handy to have around.
Nice basic cables at a great price
These are a basic 1/4" TRS (balanced) cables at a great price. You can get more expensive cables, but for short distances at normal audio levels they are probably overkill.
