ClearSonic CSP A1224x4 Acrylic Amp Shield - 4-panel Reviews
Cranked tube amps and live sound engineers don’t usually get along. However, a ClearSonic A1224 amp shield can help you and the FOH reach a compromise. This amp shield’s ¼-inch thick acrylic panels work to isolate your amp from the rest of the stage, preventing your excellent amp tone from bleeding into other mics. What’s more, the shield features flexible hinges for variable positioning around your amp. Order your A1224 amp shield from Sweetwater and help tame your tube amp’s volume.

Clearsonic amp shields on tour
Been using these for years. Very road worthy. Our team wanted a second one for our guest musicians on tour with us. Also got the cleaning spray, which is awesome to have on hand.
Thanks,

Save the singer!
These work great to control the sound coming from the lead guitarist amp that is always set on 11! Keeps the noise from bleeding into the singers mic.
The Best Shields On the Market, Bar None
while you may well find cheaper-made shields, you won't find any of the quality of Clearsonic. i've been using Clearsonic shields for my last 100 shows since May 2022 with Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin tribute; and I've never been more impressed with a product's performance, the way a company stands behind their products, and the impact a single piece of gear can have on the entire band and crew. EVERYONE suddenly loves you: the Front-of-House guy, the gals and dudes in the stage crew, the monitor mixer, and yes, your band! No more of that annoying "well, do you think you could turn the guitar DOWN a little ..?"
And if noone ever told you…they even look cool. train a small, cheap LED stage light (SWater sells 'em..) at your shields for an otherworldly effect…..:) Best, JVR/Zoso
Better than I expected...
I wanted to use this in an outdoor situation to help control stage volume and mic bleed. I was surprised on how much the guitar amp was attenuated. With my guitar amp faders all the way down, I could barely hear the amp from the FOH. I am curious on what will happen when used indoors.
Clearsonic Shield
This shield works exactly as they claim. The sound is directed up and around the room and I can crank my Victory V30 up to get that nice overdrive. Great product.
Butt saver
Man..... I tell you. Sound guys used to run at the sight of me lugging in my vintage Pro Reverb. I can turn it halfway up, and skin cats. Not anymore! The cats are thankful, and so are the sound guys! The 4 panel Clearsonic lets me get my power tubes cookin", without making everyone"s (including my own) ears bleed. I usually put it about 1-2 feet in front of the amp depending on the sound I need. It definitely has a sweet spot. The drummer likes it because he can hear me better, the bass player likes that he can be heard, and I like not being told to turn it down. Win, win, win!
Seriously though, this thing is great. I don"t play super crazy loud and I pride myself on dynamics, but this thing makes my life a lot easier. Clarity remains true, my highs are slightly subdued, bass response tightens up, and my power tubes actually get to open up a touch. Buy one of these, your sound guy, audience, and band will really appreciate it! (Oh, and your sweetwater Rep too!)
Works great!
Does exactly what we wanted. Keeps the stage volume down and the people on the front row don't get blasted! Sound guys have been pleased too. helps a lot...
A2-4 Amp Shield
It does exactly what it's supposed to do. :) I got the shield to help lower stage volume but still be able to open up my tube amp. The first night I used it, my bass player wanted more guitar in his monitor because he "couldn't hear me". I would love to get one with some sound absorbing foam attached to it. I think that would be a great addition. Overall, I love it. Its light, compact, well made, affordable, and gets the job done. I would recommend this product to anyone using higher wattage tube amps. Sound techs will love you for it also!
Clearsonic amp shield
This is a high quality product that does a great job deflecting the sound beam from your guitar amp. The four panels allow you the option of adjusting exactly how much sound you want to project or deflect.
Great product!
Perfect solution for our amps that are pointed into the house. Allows for a much more uniform mix but still get that look and feel that is important to our artist!
clear sonic 48 x 24
this really helps me hear my amp. hard to believe you can stand in front and not hear. now the band can hear as well as me, and the audience does not get blasted.
worth the money
ClearSonic Amp Shield
Really does a nice job of cutting down on the beam. Great for smaller rooms.

i like the amp shield it keeps stage levels up and gives more control to the sound tech...I would recomend
ClearSonic Shield System for guitar amp
This shield system works great for the rehearsal studio and small venues enabling you to get good tone from the amp without destroying eardrums. The one problem I had was that the shield doesn't want to stay as you position it, it keeps trying to fold up. Otherwise, it works as advertised.
Clear sonic amp shield
Very happy w/ the product. Could not build it any cheaper (considering the material cost, hinges, and routing the groove and edges. Product exceeds my expectations. Service and delivery was exceptional. I would use Sweetwater again
Raise the Roof!
I finally was able to use this shield at my last gig. This really helped to keep my Fender Super Sonic 60 from blasting the audience up front and the microphone I use. It helped to spread my sound up and around the room, giving it a more full sound. I received a few compliments afterwards because of my "volume" and how good I sounded. I'd give it five stars, except I didn't realize how easy this stuff can be scratched and I'm not sure how long it will look clear.
Not as good as I hoped
Perhaps my expectations were too high. I put it in front of an amp, and could barely tell the difference. I measured the volume drop with a meter, and it only dropped from 98db to 96db. So yes, it doesn cut the volume, but not by much.
