    Excelent for the price

Just correct the strings high, and that's it. You are going to have fun with her.

Shockingly good (?Great), economical nylon stringed guitar

I was looking for a guitar to bang around quietly during songwriting sessions, but one that would also serve as a decent "classical" guitar for the rare occasions where I needed one (and since I'm not really a "classical" guitarist, and only play fingerstyle and with plectrum) for recording and for occasional gigs requiring such. A friend of mine from the Peacemakers (AZ) turned me on to this wonderful little number.

I was initially disappointed. It comes packed in a cheapo box and a cheapo foam wrap with a couple rubber bands. That's about it. So I unboxed it and played it after using the BUILT IN (!) tuner (which is pretty accurate, but a bit slow, but for the money, I ain't complaining!), and I could tell there was some potential there. I changed the strings to some Martins, stretched em, tuned em, and YES!

The guitar came alive. More and more it is my "go to" guitar, especially for songwriting, but also for impromptu performances. Sure, it won't generate the volume of a steel string, but that's not what it's for. It has a wonderful sound that comes close to the Alvarez and Takamine classicals I've owned in the past, and sounds a LOT better than the Godin nylon (which is, to be fair, really meant to be plugged in) and is MUCH lighter than the latter as well.

If you're looking for a no nonsense, good quality nylon stringed guitar, for whatever reason, look no further. For the money, there isn't a better nylon out there.

    Very Nice Nylon String Guitar

This is a really nice "Thinline" Nylon string guitar.

Fender calls it a classical guitar, but really I think of it as a "Pop Nylon" Acoustic/Electric.

Since it's a "Thinline" guitar, it's not really loud enough to be used for an unplugged classical, but plugged in it sounds excellent.

It has a very comfortable neck, which is easy to play, and I find myself often keeping it by the sofa, and playing it while watching TV too.

I took off 1/2 star, because the onboard tuner - which is part of the Fishman preamp system - isn't nearly accurate enough for my ears, so I still use my Peterson StroboClip to tune it with.

The included strings are pretty bad, so I replaced them with La Bella 413P Studio strings, which are "squeakless".

The battery door didn't quite close right out of the box, but it only took a few minutes for my guitar guy to fix that.

All in all, I am very happy to add this guitar to my arsenal.

    Fender Thinline

I had been seraching around for a while at my local guitar stores looking for a classical guitar with a thin neck without much luck. So i decided to take a shot in the dark and bought this one just by reading all the specs they provided online.
Was I surprised when I opened the package and got to play with it? You bet!
The feel and tone of this guitar suits all my neeeds and it sounds waaaaayyy better when plugged into the amp. One thing you should note is that this one is not too bassy (which is just perfect for me)So if youre looking for something like that keep searching or give this one a try Its still great regardless of the thin body it has.

The only reason for a-half-a point off, is that I knew what I wanted & it wasn't difficult to fill the order. Very knowledgeable staff & very helpful. They gave me the serial number of the guitar that I requested. This was my second purchase.
I think Sweetwater has no equal!
