Solid patch cable
I have about 10 of these running my board. 0 issues. Just not as low profile as most patch cables at the 90° angle. Why I rated 4 1/2 stars.
Good patch cables
No issues. I have 5 running through my chain and just ordered another. Hosa cables have been good to me over the years so far.
Gets the Job Done
The patch cables do exactly what you need them to do, they have very little to no hum at all and fit every budget.
Patch cord
Brand new outta the box and the cord crackles like rice krispies...disappointing...
Good cables
These cables are reliable. They get the job done nicely and at a good price.
Hosa Patch Cable
For the price this patch cable do the job well.
6" guitar patch cables
They do the job.
An update to previous review on this product...
To follow up the previous review... after I removed the Hosa patch cables from both pedal boards, no more issues. It was most definitely these cables that caused the loss of signal issue mentioned. The boards have been in and out of cases, moved around, etc., so it was not that these cables were judged unfairly.
Again, maybe quality control was on vacation when my cables where shipped. Maybe all the rest are fine, BUT there was something wrong with the jacks on the cables I received.
That is all. Happy plucking...
Issues with these patch cables
Looks like I'm the lone dissenter regarding this product... here's the scenario.
Last week I rebuilt both of my pedal boards. I ordered the Hosa 6" patch cables, angle-angle and used these patch cables exclusively on the boards. I noticed when I connected them to the 1/4" jacks on the pedals something didn't feel quite right, but got everything connected and working, and thought no more about it.
During rehearsal for a performance over the weekend I lost signal, not 100% but like 50%. After 10 min of hair pulling and cursing I found the problem. A couple of the patch cables had disengaged a bit from the jacks. I pushed them back in and signal back.
First time this has ever happened. I had to stop rehearsal and reconnect both boards with the old patch cables I'd used for years with no problems, and had no more issues. I knew something felt odd about the way they plugged into the pedal jacks... tehy didn't seem to seat properly.
So, one could guess that maybe I didn't get the cables connected properly. Definitely not the case. Someone could argue the cables were dislodged somehow during set up or transport. Definitely not the case. I've used these very pedal boards for years with no issue at all and they travel in cases. It was definitely the patch cables.
Maybe I just got a bad manufacturing lot. The 12" Hosa patch cables I ordered worked fine.
Bring on the pedals!
A real steal for the price. Absolutely compact and quiet!
Just plug it in....!
Short and to the point. They work.
Work Great!
Works perfect!
not worth 3 bucks
Lived on my pedalboard for less than 2 months before it would not work anymore. Wiser to invest in better cables (better insulation) and generally better build quality.
Worth about half of what it costs.
Decent
Affordable cables work fine. Not sure how long they last but it has been a month and has not died on me yet.
Nice little patcher cables
These are cheap but not cheaply made. Didn't add noise or decay the signals so they work very well. If they were gold plated then I would have given them a 5 star rating but if you need decent and affordable patch cables, these will do a great job on your pedal boards.
