Great deal for the Money

Great guitar for the price, with a case included. The finish and look of this Fender guitar is outstanding. For a $300 guitar this is a great value. I would recommend this guitar to anyone. Love the sound too. Been playing my sister Taylor 710 and I like this guitar just as much. You can not go wrong with this one. I got the Black one but I'am sure all the others are as beautiful. Also Jason at Sweetwater was very helpful. Will be buying my equipment need from them.

Outstanding Instrument

Taking up playing again after 30+ years away, I wanted a good guitar at a reasonable price. This guitar sounds fantastic, loud and true. Worth every penny! I love the sound and it has killer looks, just beautiful. The built in preamp and tuner are great as well. I am pleased with everything about this guitar. The staff at Sweetwater is excellent, knowledgeable and so helpful in choosing this instrument. They did a great job in packaging and shipping. It came well boxed and protected and even arrived a day early! A great buying experience. I rarely write reviews, but in this case, it's warranted. Buy from Sweetwater, you won't be disappointed!

No complaint fine guitar, great quality you could get more if you spent more but that's always the case. Unless you are a pro recording artist I couldn't see the need for more.great EZ play neck. The hard case sold this guitar for me those cases alone cost about $100 so that in mind I challenge you to find a better guitar for the price

Not what I was expecting!

I needed an instrument to use for an outdoor winter gig. I usually play Taylor guitars so I was a little skeptical about buying a $300 guitar. I didn't want to use a higher priced instrument outside. 4 degrees is too cold for man or instrument! I was blown away by the quality and sound of the CD-60CE. I ordered it in black. The finish was well done. I did not find any kind of paint runs or over spray of any kind. It features chrome closed back tuners that work well. The nut and bridge are made of what they call Graph-Tech which looks and sounds very similar to Tusq. The action is super low out of the box and very easy to play higher up the neck. Speaking of the the neck it's a little bigger than I'm used to. It's close to the necks of a Takamine if you're familiar with the brand. It did not take long to get used to. This model includes Fishman electronics and they sound fantastic through a PA System or house system. I was so impressed that I used it the following weekend at church. I received many compliments from people asking what kind of guitar it was. It does come with a hard case which is nice to have but it's not the best quality. Oh well you can't have everything! Unplugged it sounds kind of dark and lacking in volume compared to a Taylor which are typically brighter and more articulate. When you really dig in it seems to break up a little. However when finger picked or strummed light to medium it sounds fine. You do gain a bit more control when it's plugged in thanks to the pre-amp. I have not had much experience with Fender acoustics so I can't speak to their quality control but I apparently received a good one. Having purchased this guitar sight unseen or played I am very happy with it. I find it to be a great value for the money.
Music background: Just a guy who loves to play where ever I can.
