Very happy with purchase
After reading some reviews on Amazon stating that the bag did not hold up after repeated use, I decided to buy a Gator bag. The Gator bag was well built, but didn't quite fit right (it was too large and didn't fit the curved edges of the Korg SV-1). I ended up returning the Gator and purchasing the CBSV188, and I'm glad I did. It fits the SV-1 like a glove and is well made (maybe Korg improved the bag since the bad reviews?). I've used it several times to transport the SV-1 and have not experienced any issues with the zippers or material as was reporting in some reviews on Amazon. All in all, I am satisfied with the bag. My only complaint is the price, but I can live with that for a bag that I plan on using for a long time and that properly fits the keyboard.
Too Thin .
I got this case for our KORG SV-1 88 but I had to return it cuz it's too thin for a heavy keyboard like SV-1 88 !
It's so thin that you can fold it and put it in a midum box , that how It was shipped to me .
Unfortunately not designed to hold up
This should be the perfect case for my SV1-88... however it started ripping within 3 months of owning the case. Now I'm three years in to ownership of an SV1 and case, and the handles have almost completely ripped off.
Doesn't seem right considering they should know how much the keyboard weighs and plan accordingly!
Disappointed by this case.
Very Thin Padding !
I bought this case for my SV-1 88 and I thought it was the best protection for SV-1 88 since it was
specifically made for that keyboard by KORG .
But when I saw it , I laughed ! What kinda carrying case is it for God sake !!??
You can easily fold it , and it was delivered in a 27"x18"x10" box !!!!
How can it protect my heavy 88 keys ???? The padding is so thin .
So, I called Sweet Water and asked to exchange it with Gator case .
