Great piece of equipment!

I have a couple of cajons from Meinl and they are a wonderful edition to my equipment. They have great sound and are really durable. Have lasted for years now with great sound. Would gladly recommend this to anyone!

GREAT!

Very punchy bass tone with a nice blend of the snares. There is a little low end resonance, which is a common issue I've found with most Cajons. When I play it live I throw a few t-shirts in the bottom and take a few Db's out at around 80-90hz with a parametric EQ and it sounds great. Comfortable to play and very responsive. Even the softest taps respond well which make it an incredibly dynamic instrument. It also records incredibly well with the right mic'ing techniques. Really a great instrument in my opinion. For my tastes this Cajon is ideal. I would replace it immediately if something were to happen to this one.

Great Instrument

This is my first Cajon that I have purchased. So far I am very pleased with it. The drum itself looks great with the ebony frontplate, the snare and bass sounds are great. I love the ability to adjust the snares, although I have not used that feature much yet. Sometimes there is a slight rattle from the snares every once and a while, but its nothing that is going to cause problems. Great purchase.

Great Instrument, Great Price

I picked this one up to have something affordable and versatile (with the adjustable snare). It has the padded seat, which doesn't appear to be much but actually sits really well. It makes a huge difference from an ordinary wood top.Acoustically, the bass tone is ok, and the snare has a great snap to it. Mic'd up though, this thing really shines. You get great low end when mic'd properly and nice snap to the snare. I actually had to roll off some of the bass frequencies at about 80 Hz.I absolutely love it and would replace it with the same one if anything happened to it. I highly recommend this one. Great versatility, and again - can't beat the price on it.
