You need a pair of C-4s

The Behringer C-4 matched pair of condenser mics gives you great sound at a spectacular price. The C-4 exhibits a slight rise in the 1k to 8k frequency range, imparting nice shimmer to cymbals and presence to pianos, while its cardioid pickup pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection. You get ultra low-noise transformerless FET input circuitry that can handle rowdy dynamics and boasts a whopping maximum SPL of 136dB. A switchable low-frequency rolloff eliminates uninvited infrasonics, and the 10dB pad is handy for taming toms and 412 cabs. The Behringer C-4 - you need a pair.

c4 mikes

I tried C4 mikes on a live band with vocals . found them excellent .,true to life., rich bass

Great mics

Bought a pair of these to try and was very happy with there performance.I used them on the Hi Hat and sounds just as god as the SM81. Went ahead and bought another pair to use for overheads.

An explosion of sound

These things are great ,you could put them on anything and it will sound good. Seemingly military construction will keep them going for years to come. Replaceable capsules, low cut and -10 db pad, and all well under 100 bucks!!! Plus it comes with a case and a stereo mic stand adapter. You cant go wrong. Everyone should have a set of these, especially for the price

great for the price

I really depend on reviews when I buy equipment. I don't know why Behringer gets a bad name. this is my 3d product from them they are well built and dependable. I am so surprised how good these microphones sound. I have used them for overheads, acoustic guitar, and vocals. they sound great. the sound is much better than some mic's I have that are 3 times the price. The microphones have a slight boost somewhere between 1000 and 8000 khz. I would normally not like that personally however it is not overbearing and I don't find the need to fix that with EQ. the mic attachments are not the best but work fine. The low end roll off really helps to make these quite clear. I would consider buying another set and would recommend these microphones. For my home studio they are great.

C-4 mics

These little mic are are great. I've only used them for live shows. They came with a duel mount so you can put them in an X Y configuration. It saves set up time and captures the frequencys you want. These are a great buy
