    Pretty Good Mic

It works great and has a wide range of use, havent put it to serious testing yet but so far am happy with it. I use it to record acoustic guitar with and without amp, picks up every sound clear and bright, absolutely no complaints!

    NOT BAD FOR FIFTY BUCKS

FOR 50 BUCKS YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. I TRIED IT THROUGH A
FOCUSRITE SAFFIRE PRO 40 INTO REASON W/RECORD, RECORDING VOCALS IN ALL THE PATTERNS, EACH ONE GIVING YOU A DECENT REPRODUCTION OF THE SOURCE BEING RECORDED. 55 BUCKS FOR A MULTI PATTERN MICROPHONE, COOL. MATCH IT WITH A BASIC LITTLE PREAMP AND JUST RECORD. LOVE, YA. close [-]

    Great mic, great value!

I've used this mic for past couple of years in my small studio. I liked it so much, I just added another one. I use them mainly for voice-over work, interviews, or an occasional indoor video shoot. Even though they're inexpensive, they do a great job.

    Versatile, Economical

First off, we need to point out that the C3 is not a large-diaphragm mike but a side-address small diaphragm (.6") design. Nothing wrong with that, of course. I've been using a pair as utility microphones for a while and the multiple patterns make them quite versatile, especially considering their modest price. I particularly like them in figure-8 mode for recording acoustic instruments -- reasonably flat and with good side rejection. Wouldn't be my first choice much of the time but they're good to have available when I need an extra mike or two. They are a tad noisy but nothing I haven't been able to live with.
