Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver the massive tone you demand

From classic rock snarl to silky-smooth leads, a pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbuckers make getting the tone you want out of your Schecter C-1 Classic easy. At the bridge, a Duncan JB pickup gives your rhythm tone seriously heavy chunk and grit with just enough air for speed riffing. Up at the neck, you'll find a Seymour Duncan Jazz humbucker - a tried-and-true source for velvety smooth lead tones. Take it from the Sweetwater crew - together with these pickups, the Schecter C-1 Classic will give you years of amazing performance.

TonePros TOM bridge with string-through-body design provides amazing stability

If you love the stability and ultra-fast response of a hardtail bridge, then you'll feel right at home with a C-1 Classic guitar. To give the C-1 Classic the performance you demand, Schecter didn't just grab any old bridge - they gave the C-1 Classic a TonePros TOM. The TonePros TOM locks down your action, keeping your intonation solid and your harmonics crisp. Combined with the its string-through-body design, this setup gives the C-1 Classic truly epic sustain!

High-performance tonewoods give you the sound and feel you need

At the most basic level, the sound of your guitar comes from the tonewoods it's made out of. That's why Schecter chose only time-tested, tried-and-true tonewoods to make the C-1 Classic solidbody electric guitar perfect for hard rock and modern metal. It all starts with the rich and melodic warmth of mahogany, bolstered by the bright bite of its beautifully quilt maple top. Love my Schecter

This is such a beautiful guitar. I cant believe the quality of workmanship and fine detail of a guitar of this price. It is as every bit as gorgeous as my friend's PRS. The sound and playability are great too. I am a metal (thrash) fan, and this guitar has the perfect sound for it.

Awesome Guitar

I did not buy this guitar from Sweetwater (Hold your boos) however this guitar is absolutely amazing. I bought it from my friend's dad and prior to the purchase I had three guitars: A Keith Urban Acoustic, an Epiphone SG, and a Squier stratocaster. This guitar however, is by far my baby the pickups are the greatest and the coil tapping is absolutely awesome for cleans. I absolutely love this guitar.

Great Guitar

I love everything about it

Phenominal guitar for the price.

This is an amazing guitar. I rank this quality up next to my Ibanez rgd2127z and almost up with my Music Man JP6.I've gone through plenty of guitars. This seems to be the only one that I can't get myself get rid of because there is no way I would let this go for what this guitar this guitar goes for used. Pros: -lovely pickups for any style. very Articulated and powerful even while driven hard and crystal clear but very full when run through cleans. -extremely comfortable. fast neck but not this like Ibanez Wizards. -five way switch for all the possiblilities. Cons:- Not really a Con, But I really wish this was a stoptail like a Hipshot. Im not into string through guitars

Wow! Beautiful look, tones, and solid construction

Originally I bought this guitar when it was in Schecter's regular line up back in late 2005. The original C1 Classic looks nearly identical to the current reissue, except the vine inlay was in pearl before and now it's abalone and I really love the abalone with it's multi-colored hues.My original C1 had a flaw that I discovered over the years. I could never get the intonation perfect, yet still the guitar played great and sounded great.I contacted Schecter and asked if there is something I could do to fix the intonation issue. Their customer service tech asked me to send it in so they could take a look at it. I did. They found that there was something wrong that could not be fixed with the intonation, and here's the amazing part, he offered me a brand new current production C1!That, my friends, IS customer service, amazing customer service.Even though my original C1 was nearly 9yrs old, Schecter FULLY warranted my guitar and sent me a brand spanking new C1 Classic, and they didn't even charge me return shipping. Plus, the price of the C1 Classic has gone up since I bought mine, and still I got a new replacement from Schecter with NO extra money to be paid. Not only do I LOVE this guitar, I am now a serious Schecter guitar supporter. My next guitar will be another Schecter, likely the C1 Extreme, which is also a neck through design. The neck through design should be on every guitar. Having the neck as part of the body really gives a beautiful tone and adds to sustain. This guitar SINGS. Construction is flawless and very solid. The finish is gorgeous along with the quilted maple top.Set up out of the case was PERFECT, and it was still in tune when I took it out of the box and case. Very amazing. And it holds tune very very well with credit to the excellent Grover tuners that feel like butter.I love this neck. It is super smooth and fast when you need it to be.It has extra jumbo frets that make solo's easy and stings bend so easily and clear. This new C1 has the same Duncan JB and Jazz pups as the original, but I think Schecter may have improved the electronic's because the pots on this one respond better than my original. On my original the volume pot would respond but not with much difference until at the very end of it's range. The new C1 volume pot responds much better with a much more natural volume taper. And the tone pot seems to respond better as well.Over all I think this new C1 sounds better, richer, clearer, and full of harmonic goodness. It can handle thicker strings for those of you who like to drop tune. And with a 25.5" scale it handles down tune beautifully. And it handles lighter strings with no problem at all. I'm currently running 9's and it's awesome in tone and feel even when tuning down to D, 1 step down on all strings.Playability with 9's tuned down to D feels fantastic. I normally tune to 1/2 step down. The pup's and their wiring is excellent and gives a fantastic range of tones not found on many other guitars. As the video shows there are 2 humbuckers but with a 5 way selector. This baby will give you Strat like tones so you can hear what a Start would sound like if it were made of a Mahogany body with a maple top. I have a 1990 American Strat Plus Deluxe with Lace Sensor single coils and this C1 gives a great single coil tone by comparison. The only down side is that the gold finish on my original C1 wore off on the pick up covers and made it look worn. I don't know if the new gold finish will wear better on the new C1, but it does look like the Gold finish is of better quality this time around as the finish is brighter not as "satin" as before. But that may be Duncan's fault as the make the pup's that go into this guitar. One more awesome feature of this guitar is access to frets well beyond the 12th fret. Fantastic. Playing chords or single notes well above the 12th fret is effortless, very easy to access. My main complaint with Gibson Les Paul's is the very limited higher fret access and they way you have to contort your hand and fingers to play higher. Not a problem with this guitar. Shred away.I can get beautiful and full clean tones, and on high gain settings the tone rips with hard rock and Metal goodness. With the neck through design, tone woods, and Duncan pup's, high gain tones rip and this baby will growl and scream whenever you want it to.Get one of these for your collection, and you'll be reaching for it much more often than for your Gibson's, Fender's, and ESP's.At this price Schecter should make it in different colors so that you have a reason to get a couple of them. :)This is a very high quality instrument that will last for as long as you want i to. Don't forget to get a hard shell case as this guitar deserves to have a nice place to rest.AWESOME!
