High-performance tonewoods give you the sound and feel you need

At the most basic level, the sound of your guitar comes from the tonewoods it's made from. That's why Schecter chose only time-tested, tried-and-true tonewoods to make the C-1 Custom solidbody electric guitar perfect for hard rock and modern metal. It all starts with the rich and melodic warmth of mahogany, bolstered by the bright bite of its beautiful quilted maple top. What's more, the C-1 Custom sports a 3-piece mahogany neck, whose comfortable carve is ideal for more technical guitar playing styles.

A duo of hand-wound pickups delivers monumental tone

Schecter pickups from the mid '70s and early '80s have become highly sought after by players worldwide. Guitarists at Sweetwater are excited that Schecter is now making a complete line of custom pickups, including Pasadena and Pasadena Plus humbuckers, all fastidiously hand-wound in the company's Sun Valley, California, factory. Pasadena pickups are known for their balanced, PAF-like sound with an upper-mid bump that pushes your amp into gorgeous "brown" tones. Originally conceived for Zacky Vengeance of Avenged Sevenfold, the Pasadena Plus injects the Pasadena with a round of steroids, yielding more output and upper mids for a massive, take-no-prisoners tone.

TonePros TOM bridge with string-thru-body design provides amazing stability

If you love the stability and ultra-fast response of a hardtail bridge, then you'll feel right at home with a C-1 Custom guitar. To give this axe the performance you demand, Schecter didn't just grab any old bridge - they gave it a TonePros TOM. The TonePros TOM locks down your action, keeping your intonation solid and your harmonics crisp. Combined with its string-thru-body design, this setup gives the C-1 Custom truly epic sustain!

Schecter C-1 Custom Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Performance-driven solidbody electric guitar made for modern aggressive playing styles
  • Beautiful quilted maple top adds spank to a rich mahogany body and responsive 3-piece neck
  • Set neck with Ultra Access heel carve gives you easy access to your upper frets
  • Schecter Pasadena pickups provide killer tone
  • Slippery ebony fingerboard creates ultra-fast playability
  • TonePros TOM bridge gives you rock-solid action and enhances your sustain
The Schecter C-1 Custom solidbody electric guitar is ready to rock!

Had it for 2 months.

PROS:- Great build quality.- Comfortable neck. Medium C shape. Not too thin, not too fat, just right. I love the Satin finish. Feels smooth as a pool cue.- Schecter USA Pasadena humbuckers. Basically a hot/hotter PAF set. Bridge can get pretty hot but does not lose the vintage vibe. I usually go with Seymour Duncans but I'm leaving these in.CONS:- The Schecter locking tuners feel kinda cheap. That said, I have not had any issues with them.- The fingerboard is supposed to be Ebony. It looks, feels and sounds like dyed Rosewood to me. Disclaimer: I am not a wood expert. Just from my experience playing other Ebony boards.Overall a great value. I like this guitar a lot. Very comfortable to play. Light, resonant mahogany body. Check out the specs.
