Perfect Basic Bass

After playing bass for over 50 years, I have owned every type of bass from high-end to this Bronco. I have owned many Precisions and Jazz basses. The first time I tried a Bronco I was in my local Music Store trying out basses. On a "How Good Could This Be? moment, I plugged in a Red Bronco. I can tell you it's a little p-bass. Great playing neck that wonderful classic body style. I bought one from Sweetwater's great sales team. In the Torino Red. It arrived in perfect condition. I did a setup on it. String height and set intonation. A little more difficult with the two saddle vintage style bridge. I play it through a vintage? SWR TRIAD AND A FENDER 500 and Wow!! IMO I think the stock pickup sounds great. What a great bass! For any age and skill level. If you are into changing things out the Bronco is a Modders paradise. Light weight well made bass. I swapped out the hardware from chrome to black and installed a black 4 saddle bridge. Absolutely a fun great bass!

Great Bass!!!

At 65 this bass is a real Joy! I've played Pbass all my life. Over 50 years! I've owned other basses but always returned To the Precision. Leo with input from others created the best Bass. IMHO. Arthritis has made it difficult to play and carry, soI bought this bass and the fender Rumble 500. I run it through An original issue SWR Triad. Wow!! This bass sounds amazing! For me, I'm very satisfied. The bass was setup great and in perfect Condition. You have to hear them through a hi fidelity cab. IMHOneeds nothing. Very easy to play! I've missed not having a bass for So long that didn't hurt to play. Thanks Fender/Squier. There is no better online service than Sweetwater. Thanks to John Ptak whoGuided me into a Great bass.

Reasonably happty

I really am blown away with kind personal serve I received from the sales people and the tech people. I a disappointed in the product I selected, wish I had spent a few more dollars and got one where you can adjust each string to get better intonation. All in all I am satisfied. Robert D

Actually really good

I was actually looking for the squire affinity pj bass when I saw this one, so I plugged it in and tried it, really not expecting much. But seriously I ended up buying it 20 minutes later because I liked it so much. What I like about it is its size, I'm a guitar player and picking up a regular bass is like picking up a giant. This one is small and frets are closer together so its much easier to play for me while still having a really great bass sound that you can adjust with the tone knob. I'm actually really happy that I tried it. Also I did try the affinity, and I still ended up getting this one because of how comfortable I felt playing it.

My first Bass. It should be yours too!

A solid Fender Bass for the beginner or just to play with. This Bass has everything you need and delivers a true Fender Bass sound at a very affordable price! The neck is shorter but does not limit you in any way. Great sound and a great value and best of all, its a Fender. I highly recommend for the beginner! You will be very pleased.
