Squier bass

It takes a while to used to 4 strings but it works great

Awesome especially for the price.

All I can say about this bass is WOW! I was in Guitar center yesterday playing pretty much every bass on the wall and finally picked this one up.I thought it played and sounded better than almost all of them. I always scoffed at Squiers in the past, but this bass made me rethink this. True, it's a short scale but so what? I would go as far to say I would gig with this thing. The tone and feel for this bass for $149 just can't be beat. Just take it home, set it up and maybe crown the frets a bit and I feel you'd have a great bass.

Great guitar for a beginner great tone and very lite.
Music background: drummer and now bass.

Great, low cost bass.

I play guitar, but wanted a bass to mess around with. The short scale makes the transition easy. The quality is fantastic for a $ bass, and you don't feel bad if you wanna upgrade. Brought it to band practice and everyone was surprised by the quamity and sound.
Music background: Hobby, occasional gigs

Great bass for the price!

I bought this bass to learn on. It's good for that. The frets are a little rough on the side of the neck. I suppose that's the case with cheaper instruments. It plays well and keeps in tune nicely. I would probably buy it again.
