And it's a breeze to use — no programming necessary. Experience high-quality 16-bit sound that works great with any sound system, including headphones. Use the built-in visual metronome to keep you on the beat. Beyond that, the ergonomic button on the BeatBuddy Mini 2 is so comfortable, you can practice in socks or barefoot! Enjoy hands-free control of the beat

Singular Sound's BeatBuddy Mini 2 is a lot of fun to use — and it's easy! Press the pedal to start the beat with an intro fill, and add a fill at any point in the song with a simple tap of your foot. Press and hold the pedal to transition to the next part of a song (i.e. verse to chorus). Then double tap to end the song with an outro fill. At Sweetwater, we love how easy it is to get up and running with the BeatBuddy Mini 2.

The one man band

Hey I love the Beat Buddy. It is a cool device for adding drums to your guitar and being the one man band. It has some very cool features like the internet connect. You have the option of looking at songs and how to set the Beat Buddy mini 2 to play the song with the correct drum time. I personally think that makes for a cool device. If playing at home or you are a coffee shop one man band the Beat Buddy Mini 2 is just what you need. Small and compact and simple to use. Singular Sound has taken all the guess work out making it simple to get that sound you want.

MINI2 BeatBuddy . I’m On A Roll!

After learning its basic features , I'm finding that this is a machine drum pedal . I mean , I tried a few ways to hear the different drums . It's great for practice . It's got to be the right speakers for the real sound to bring out the special parts of the drums . I especially enjoy the red , amber, and green lites : genre, song, and tempo . I'm working it out . It's worth it. It's a Bang for the Buck .Works better thru the Aux. input on back of the Spider V30 LINE6 Modeling Amp.
Music background: Just at 17yrs.of age about 1975 ,First guitar a Stella red sunburst Folk Guitar . I liked the sheet music bins . Then with my paper route money my dad we saw an advertisement for a Fender Twin Reverb with 2 12” Speakers ,played a lot of fuzz and my neighb

My new buddy

If you want to program drum beats, this is not the machine for you. However, if you want a simple "drummer in a box", this is a great device! I use it to practice and intend to use it to stimulate creativity for song writing. Easy to use and definitely worth the price.

Solid product

For what I'm doing and playing, this thing is awesome! I've had numerous songs on guitar throughout my playing years but never really had a consistent beat to put it to. It also has helped my timing a bit. I really like the ease of the pedal and the footswitch is definitely recommended to go along side. It's been about a week with the set up and from genre, beats within a genre, tempo, start/stop with the footswitch I feel there is limitless variations to mess around with.
Using a P.A. or stereo speaker is ideal for the pedal but I'm currently running it through an old 10w guitar amp. Sounds solid and works for now. My main amp is a boss katana 50 so I separate the two due to the effects of the boss amp.
All in all, very pleased with the purchase!
