    New convert to Orange products

After decades of playing Peavey, Acoustic, Ampeg and GK, this little head was like a revelation. I was amazed at how broad a tonal range was available right out of the box at all volume levels. It's incredibly clear when you need it to be, and it has really gnarly overdrive when you need that, too. I set the EQ to flat before running my pedals through it, and even then the tone was sharper, deeper and brighter than my other rigs after long amounts time tweaking the settings. From heavy rock to HEAVY rock to light material, this head has been ideal for all of it.

I'm a happy new convert to the the church of Orange.

    Great little head!

Picked this head up about a month ago. I've since used it for several country gigs, and several worship gigs. The tone is great, very transparent if you want it to be. Really lets the tone from my bass and fingers come through, but will add color and depth at the twist of a knob. Love the simple layout, less really is more! Lots of clean headroom, but crank the gain and you'll get a gritty tube overdrive. This head is light and portable, and the gig bag really comes in handy. The ohm switching is a nice feature. So far I have no complaints, definitely worth picking up.

    I really like it!

I really like it! Light weight and comes with a really cool soft case. Has a ton of gain. I love how good it sounds at low or high volumes. Tons of headroom. I would have given it 5 stars but straight out of the box I was shocked at how loud the fan was. After a couple of hour of use it started to quite down, but It was pretty loud the first day. Buy this, you will be happy with it. I play everything from jazz to metal and this head will easily do any sound I am looking for and more!

    Lives up to hype

Fantastic bass head that I sounds great with everything set flat to start with (I really don't need to mess with the EQ much with this head). This has an old school warm tube sound and there is gain for days. An outstanding warm rock/blues amp. Also, this is only head I found with a switch to allow 4 or 8 ohm operation at a full 500 watts. This adds so much more versitility when matching different cabinets.

    Great amp

Great amp! It's light and it sounds great! It has a thick tone. It can produce a clean sound by setting the gain low or you can get some distortion by setting it high. It is loud! Sometimes I find it too loud. I wish I could play it at a lower volume.
