My Favorite Wah

I can't stand having to press forward to switch a wah on. I've walked away from my crybaby and it was still on because of that dopey switch. The Bad Horsie is huge improvement over those other wah pedals. Many of those old wah's have added features that Morley pioneered 30yrs ago. I wear a size 11 boot and those old wah's feel tiny under my foot. The Morley has a nice wide pedal with a nice travel. It's clearer, brighter, louder. You can really hear the effect. It takes up more space on my board, but I'm fine with that. The Morley is well made, it's going to last a long time with no pots or switches in the circuit. I love the standard voice of this pedal, it's brash, never gets lost. But I use the contour circuit. I alter (slightly) the center frequency just a touch, but I crank up the level. It slams into my drive pedals and the amp's front end, making leads sing out loud and clear. I think it's the best wah out there, and I've tried tons of them. I put together boards for my customers and they bring me very expensive pedals with tiny footprints with many controls on them. None of them impressed me enough to remove the Morley from my board. I highly recommend you try this one out. Sweetwater's service and return policy is top notch, they will help you find the right wah for your board.

Great Sounding Wah

It's got it all. Sounds great, super comfortable and easy to use. I must admit though, I don't really use the contour button but I got this pedal used for a great price so I don't mind it being there. Maybe I'll use it sometime. I like having the option. I personally like Morley wahs way better than Crybabys because I like the larger pedal and I hate the way Crybabys turn on.
