Small but mighty

Fantastic little amp. Works and sounds awesome whether used on a bass or with keyboards. (using this one on keyboards) Great mix, no buzz and has a good low end.
Music background: Hobbyist

Based on my experience with the Behringer Ultrabass 450A 45W bass amp combo, I was expecting a lot out of the BT108, but I was disappointed. The first unit I received distorted badly, expecially the E string, although some notes were worse than others. It also had a pronounced hum. I sent it back, but the replacement was almost as bad. It had a rattle, again mostly on the E and A strings, with some notes worse than others (particularly E and B). I did a lot of tweeking with the gains and EQ, and also with the guitar output, and I tightened all the screws. But the only thing that helped was if I pressed firmly on the transformer hanging below the amp. I also sent the second unit back. I chose this model because it was the lightest practice bass combo at 12 pounds. The only other bass amp combo in that weight range is the Eden EC8 at 11 pounds. I'm going to give it a try.
