Probably the best snare drum I own

I own about 10 snares. I own two DW edge snare that were custom made. I own some VK drums custom stuff as well. Pretty much every snare I have is $1000+ in price. This thing just sounds amazing. I have been thinking about buying a vintage one for years. But vintage drums?? Is that really the best thing. I used to own many vintage microphone preamps/guitar amps etc for my studio. After spending a fortune up keeping all this stuff it just makes more sense to buy something brand new even if it is only 98% or so of the original just for not have to repair it all the time. This one wins hands down. I am so glad I purchased this one and not a vintage one on Ebay for twice the price. PS I purchased this drum about 18 months ago. So, I have had it for a long time now.
