Darn good first banjo !

Well since this is my first string instrument it's doing what I expected it to do and others say it sounds great! I've researched the history before I purchased and I was happy to support the Washburn company. Very satisfied for my first selection of banjo !!

Great banjo for the beginner

This model is the right price and quality for a beginner. My banjo came with an action that's not too stiff and is easy on your fingers. Best of all, it stays in tune after sitting for a couple days. Plus, it sure sounds and looks nice! Best of all, is the Sweetwater customer service after the sale.
