Truth!

I'll be honest, I've been mixing for the last 13 years on a pair of Edirol MA10Dbk's, and have had some awesome mixes come out of them, but it's because I've been doing it for so long, that I get used to how the speakers so, so I know what to do during mixing to get what I need out of them. Considering it's a small home studio, they have been fantastic, but as we all know, time tends to change things, but if we use them daily, we never notice the change. I got these today and hooked them up, and was absolutely blown away, hence the 5 stars blown away selection. They are a bit more punchy in the middle than the Edirol set (which still sound fantastic), and much more low end out of them, that I almost don't need my sub woofer in the corner. Very crisp, rich, warm, nice dynamics, and sound great at any level, although anything higher than half on my volume coming through my Tascam, gets a sound pressure high enough to cause headaches, if even for a brief moment. I am planning on making the studio bigger, and putting the monitors a little further away from me when the time comes, but all in all, these speakers are awesome. Might even grab another pair...maybe even the Behringer Truth B2031A's! Time will tell.

Impressive sound!

Great clear sound! They cause no ear fatigue as long as you don't go crazy with the volume. The bass is very good for how small they Are!
