Definitely Worth Considering

After some discussion with sales technician Aaron Rom about possible heads for my recently acquired vintage Roger's kit, I committed to trying his well-thought recommendation - the Evans EC2 frosted. I'm extremely satisfied with the resulting sound. These heads are 'musical' while maintaining clean tonal identity between the toms when they are played. (I hope this makes sense.) My former heads (two 7 mil, oil filled layers) had a slightly metallic attack that played out in a somewhat unmusical overtone. Not so with the Evans EC-2 ... Sweet sounding, very open. In fact, I'm so satisfied, I just fit my other kit with the same heads. I highly suggest you give these a try - I'm very impressed. Thank you Aaron, you once again gave me top notch advice! And yes, Sweetwater rocks!

Great head

I really like these heads. The sound is not what I am use to, but there is no doubt the sound is amazing.
Music background: I have been playing the drums since I was 13, not a professional but a very good backup drummer.
