A Must for Film, TV, and Game Scoring

Note: Albion II is a Kontakt library to be used within Kontakt 4 or 5, or with Kontakt Player (free download).

Spitfire Audio Albion II Loegria fortifies your orchestral arsenal with the instruments you need to write gorgeously detailed music for film, television, and games. For Albion II, award-winning engineer Jake Jackson meticulously recorded the samples in Air Studios' impeccable-sounding Lyndhurst Hall using only world-class musicians, mics, and equipment. The resulting library gives you an enchanting chamber-sized string group, esoteric woods and brass, cinematic drums, delightfully eccentric loops, a cool organic synth, and more. If you need a palette of cinematic orchestral ensembles that will inspire your writing, energize your scores, and generally add nuance, depth, sheen, and class to your music, Spitfire Audio Albion II delivers.

Spitfire Audio Albion II at a Glance:
  • The finest musicians, instruments, and gear
  • Mix your mics for the absolute sound
The finest musicians, instruments, and gear

Spitfire Audio's recipe for Albion II was simple: Use only first-call London orchestral session musicians performing on the rarest, best-sounding instruments on the planet. Record the samples in a world-class studio: Air Studios' Lyndhurst Hall. Use only the finest vintage, tube, and ribbon mics through a custom Neve board to 2" tape (making this the only tape-based orchestral library we know of). Recorded in sections, the library gives you lush, lyrical strings; rich brass and woodwinds; cinematic percussion; quirky, eccentric loops; and a unique organic synthesizer. Take it from Sweetwater: Albion II will have you composing beautifully detailed, cinematic music in no time.

Mix your mics for the absolute sound

All Albion II patches include four selectable, mixable, and routable mic positions: Close, Tree, Ambient, and Outrigger. Work lean-and-mean on the plane with one mic, then render down with all four routed to 5.1 back at your studio. True legato is available across all choirs of the orchestra. An innovative addition is Spitfire Audio's "Ostinatum" engine, which makes it easy to build exciting, unusual arrangements, while drawing from a large bank of mod-wheel orchestral FX for additional colors. Whether you're an established or aspiring film composer, Spitfire Audio Albion II is an ideal way to inject vibrancy into your cinematic scores.
