Thinline-style Electric with a Distressed Look

The Ibanez Artcore Vintage has the style and tones you want for jazz to blues to rock 'n' roll, with standard features you might not expect at this price point. Sweetwater guitarists appreciate the Artcore's distressed satin finish and worn hardware, which give it a lived-in look and commanding presence on or off the stage. A maple top and body give this guitar fullness and projection, while a mahogany set-in neck gives it immediate resonance and sustain. Finally, a pair of vintage-styled Custom Elite humbucking pickups delivers glassy chords and juicy leads, with a familiar switching system that will make the Artcore Vintage feel comfortable in most players' hands right out of the box.

Ibanez Artcore Vintage Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:
  • Authentic look and tone for blues to rock
  • Quality construction with an affordable price tag
  • Distressed satin finish has gig-ready appeal
Authentic look and tone for blues to rock music

A traditional Thinline-style body gives the Artcore Vintage the feel you love and a look your audience expects for blues, shoegaze, indie, and classic rock. A pair of vintage-styled Ibanez Custom Elite humbuckers range from sparkling clean to full-and-gritty, while a classic semi-hollowbody F-hole design cuts down on weight and helps to mellow out aggressive playing.

Quality construction with an affordable price tag

The Artcore Vintage has bold features for a semi-hollow in this price range: a set mahogany neck gives your leads immediate, lasting sustain, and a maple top, back, and sides gives your chord-comping guts with enough clarity to cut through a mix even when your tone is rolled back.

Distressed satin finish has gig-ready appeal

The worn-in guitar look is en vogue. The Artcore Vintage saves you the cost of paying a specialist to nick your finish and soak your hardware without voiding your warranty. This helps to convey authority to your audience, and saves you the embarrassment of getting caught playing blues with a factory-new instrument.

Ibanez Artcore Vintage Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Affordable Thinline-style electric guitar with a traditional cut
  • Classic look and tone for blues, jazz, and rock 'n' roll
  • Distressed finish and hardware adds authority to your stage presence
  • Maple top, back, and sides for warmth and projection
  • Set mahogany neck has sustain for days
  • Rosewood fingerboard with fret binding and acrylic block inlays
  • Classic Elite humbuckers (neck and bridge) deliver juicy vintage tones
  • 3-way pickup switch with 2 volume and 2 tone knobs
  • Adjustable ART1 bridge with stop tailpiece
Road-worn looks meets classic tone in the Ibanez Artcore Vintage series!

Just what I was looking for.

At 62 years of age I was looking for a guitar that had the look that it was as worn as I was. I have an old 1979 Ibanez ST300 that I literally saved from a trash dumpster and brought back to life and now I have this ASV10ATCL to set beside it. String height and the intonation was slightly off when it arrived but that really proved to be no problem. It just allowed me to bond with the guitar because I am a hands on type of person and love to tweak my guitars to my taste. I love this neck because it fits my hand perfectly and even though I purchased different 18/1 tuners for her the original tuners are still on her because they are doing a great job keep the guitar in tune. The tune is of the guitar is very good. Calm and quiet when you want it to be for those soft gentle songs to a little bitty when your playing Jazz to full bore growl when playing some old rock'n roll. I don't know what type of pots and switches are installed but so far they are proving to be of good quality. I think what I like most of all is the look of this 335 style guitar. Already had a few people ask me "Where did you find this old Ibanez at" and that is the look I was going for. Even the binding and fret markers have an aged look to it. I have Gibson's, Epiphones, Taylors, Hamers and Yairis and a few very old guitars and this one has fastly become my new baby. Even non amped this guitar sounds good. It there anything I would like to change?? I may add some coil tapping switches later but for right now I am totally satisfied. Will this guitar ever be played at live shows. YES YES YES. This is my first new purchase of Ibanez guitars and now it will not be my last. Already looking for a solid body to bring home.
