Ibanez AR420 - Blue Sunburst Reviews

Thanks to Sweetwater!! Your team is the best! Jay did an excellent job in getting what I wanted and the shipment arrived quickly and very well packaged. The Ibanez AR420 is a beautiful guitar, very well built, finish is perfect. The dual buckers and tri position switches for both work wonderfully, I can get all kinds of tone from fat to full to clean and crisp! You can play all varieties of music with this one guitar. The sustain is very good! I have absolutely nothing to say about the AR420 that is not praise. I have quite a few other guitars (that cost a heap more) that do not play as well as the AR420. I love it and you will too!

I own many guitars. I use 6-8 on stage in different tunings and the belief that certain songs live in specific guitars. Most of the guitars I have are what is considered high end. I owned one of the 70's Artist series and used it until it met with a bad end. When i ran cross this one on line I jumped t the chance to buy one with out even looking at the price.I've had t for about a month and could not be happier with it. The action is very low so it it easy on the hands. With the 3 way toggle on the pik ps it can produce so many sounds I haven't had time to explore them all yet. The intonation is perfect everywhere on the neck to to bottom. i thought with the .09 strings it might not put out enough sound...wrong it does. I intend to buy the hollow body Ibenez tlhen I finish this review. This guitar plays and loos like a $2500 guitar. the only thing I will change s the nut. Its plastic so I'll install a bone one. The case that is included is perfect and will keep the guitar safe. Its also er attractive. If you're looking for an all purpose electric guitar this one at $659. is perfect. It is also a beautiful instrument. The pictures don't do it justice. It sparkles. I chose the blue because I have a tobacco sunburst PRS on stage but it tuns out the wood grain is perfectly visible through the finish. The clean tones chime and the gritty ones growl at you. My band mates though I went out and spent over $1500 and are stunned at the price and quality as well. Get one, you can't go wrong. With the money you save you could go get yourself the Hollow body one as well and still come in below what you would have expected to pay for a guitar of this quality. I see at least three or more Ibenez guitars in my immediate future.

If all companies would emulate Sweetwater's philosophy on customer service, than this world would be a lot better place. I remember thinking to myself that this must be some kind of joke. This type of customer service does not exist. I was definitely wrong. It truly exists, in so many ways, at Sweetwater! I have tried the OTHER online music store and they cannot even come close to my experience here! Sweetwater, you have a customer for life! The guitar arrived completely set up and in flawless condition, thanks to their awesome, 55 point inspection process! Now, let's talk about the guitar. I ordered the Ibanez AR420 in the violin sunburst finish and I have to say that I was blown away! First of all, I can't stop looking at this guitar. The violin sunburst finish on this instrument is absolutely beautiful and the gold hardware is a fantastic touch to an already stellar guitar. Secondly, when I plugged this thing in and started tweaking with my Marshall MG15CFX and all of the different tonal varieties that this guitar offers, I was amazed! You can hear all kinds of tones from blues to jazz to classic rock! You have 3 different tone selectors for each humbucker and you can mix and match. The versatility of this guitar is unlike any guitar that I have ever owned. You don't see a lot of people on the internet with this particular guitar. I believe that this a true, hidden gem that people are overlooking. I decided to go out of the box a little and I am glad that I did. Great job, Ibanez, for making such an affordable, beautiful, and awesome instrument! Again, thank you, Sweetwater for a stress-free buying experience!

This is an extremely beautiful guitar, the quality of the craftsmanship, materials, playability, price and tone are excellent.
