Awesome pickups!

Just when you thought a Les Paul couldn't sound better...... Duncan comes through. These pickups produce a great sound....... at least in my opinion and for my playing style (bluesy rock).

Great Pickups for Hard Rock

these came on my Gibson Slash Signature Vermillion, I had 3 guitars with the standard Alnico 2 Pros before i got it, the slash pickups have more bite to them and slightly higher output, I then got another set for my other gibson les paul which already had standard A2Ps and compared the sound and there's a big difference, anyways my next purchase is another set in trembucker for my Mockingbird

Smooth Operator

Unexpectedly smooth neck lead tone just blows me away. I must admit that I had my doubts about SD APH-2 Pro Slash after removing the classic 57's out of my 92 Gibson Custom Les Paul. But the additional surprise is that the APH-2 really sound clean and jazzy when using clean amp channel. Needless to say, I like them.Jazz,

An amazing set of pick-ups for any true Metal Head!!

I ended up putting a set into a PRS Tremonti SE guitar and what a difference it made. Definitely, worth the money if you are into active pick-ups give these a try first. Maybe, you will switch back to a real pick-up that takes the tonal veriance of the wood into consideration. Instead of having a pick-up that sounds the same in any guitar.

Great pickups

I put these in my Epiphone Les Paul standard and they made a huge difference. The stock pickups lacked punch and are way to muddy on the low end. Now the guitar sounds amazing. I wasn't looking to sound like Slash, but wanted pickups that were clear with moderate output and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them.
